I've had a lot of requests for a review of makeup from the website ShopMissA.com, so I bought enough for a full face (which only cost me about $17 with shipping, by the way!) and I conducted two wear tests to see how these would hold up over the course of a 10 hour day. Is there anything worth looking into on this website or should you just save your money for other things?

I heard that too . A lot of people would construe “ cheapness “ not in money but in quality. I totally understand, because I’m a little frugal about stuff like that . If I am looking at a more expensive product, I will try to wait till I have enough to make that happen. I am a “ beauty on a budget “ type of person for sure... !!

Lisa Cercone it takes a lot of “ constraint “ to stay out of the cosmetics section at Walmart, sadly I usually cave in. I found a Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit lipstick for $2.50 a couple of days ago , yes I gave in and bought it. But in my defense, it will look good with my bronzer . Lol 😂

I am kind of a self proclaimed shop miss a expert, I've tried almost every product they've ever put out and I have a collection of high end makeup too so I have something to compare it to! They sell a different sponge, its the paw paw charity teardrop sponge, it's $1.55 and it's even softer and works better! I'd choose it over beautyblender any day. There is also a palette under new makeup, a 5 pan amuse palette (the neutral one, others are meh) that rivals high end eyeshadow. Another winner is the aoa eyeshadow stick in twinkle! It's a dupe for the thrive causemetics inner corner highlight. I could go on all day, but I won't! 😂 Great video!!!

For fair beauties, the aoa rose blush in barbie and the aoa sculptfx contour stick in Fawn is a blessing, also the pawpaw sponge is a must have aside the paw paw eye brush set

You know it!!! Haha I give some goodies to friends and when I tell them about the site, i mumbled it... haha no im kidding but I don't tell them it's $1. There are items that are misses but I love love LOVE some of the items that are my essentials. Microfiber and Moochi sponges, UHD setting spray, F21 highlighting brushes and just got some cheap brush sets that my daughters love too. 😃😁😄

@@aurarodrigueznajar2067 yep they are cruelty free but they are not vegan. & there are 2 nonprofits that go to either am animal shelter (Paw Paw) or donating school supplies (A+) proceeds from their in house items on those are priced at $1.55 or $1.88 and some brushes are priced higher. They are not vegan but they carry brands like Amuse, Beauty Treats, La Color but also make their own AOA brand

I’m so happy you did a shop miss A video! I use their paw paw blender and OMG I love it!! More than my actual beauty blender. And once it gets too dirty to clean I just throw it away and I don’t feel bad!! I wait for their free shipping promos and I buy these blenders in bulk!

Hi zabrena if a pencil is hard or rough run the tip through a flame it softens and when it sets it’s ok to use from then on !

I've been ordering from shopmissa since around 2017 and I love them soooo much! I super rec the paw paw charity blenders (and most of their 2 in-house brands, AOA and A2O, tbh) and they just came out with sponge/brush soap!!

I am actually waiting on an AOA order to arrive😊 I love the "Paw Paw" sponge and the lip scrubs in a tube. I also ordered some single eye shadows, the one I'm excited about is a deep green. I also really like their brushes! This time I purchased some really pretty gold earrings! The only problem is being able to find the best selling products in stock~

The paw paw are softer than the regular AOA sponges. They're like bouncing a cloud in your face 😂. The mochi is hard to explain. Bonus is the $.88 extra goes to help animals.

Thank you for doing this video, I clicked immediately! You should do another one, and test out more of their products! Specifically, I’m really interested in their eyeshadow palettes (for example, ima beach. They are magnetic z palettes with really cute packaging) and their pressed highlighters!

Yes! I’ve been waiting for this! I like their hair masks. Lip scrub, and the skinny mascara is great! I think it’s only for bottom lashes but I use them for both. My friend loves their face sheet masks. I’ve noticed that if I buy the Beaty tools that are $.50 extra they seem to be a better quality. I’d love for you to do a review on their sponges and makeup brushes! Thank you for this! Xoxo 😘

I get most of my makeup from Shop Miss A, since I am mostly homebound and don't like to risk online shopping with more expensive brands. I've been eyeing the baked eyeshadows and will have to pick some up. My all time favorite is the lumi blushes, so gorgeous and I love the shimmer. Also so far, Starry Mascara is my go to mascara.

Love ShopMissA and they actually have physical stores near where I live which is AMAZING! Their beauty sponge is my daily go-to sponge and the AOA Wonder Matte liquid lipsticks are extremely comfortable!!

💜💜💜 I've been using their pink sponge the same shape of beauty blenders...I'm on my 3rd! Only because it was time (way past) to replace, they don't tear up easily. I'm a pretty tough washer too.

Yes, gotta' second this recommendation that the AOA brushes are fabulous quality. I've had mine for over a year, & even with daily use & regular cleaning, they have held up with no shedding or problems of any kind. I don't know how they do it! 😊💖

Love, love, *love* their make-up sponges! My fav is the Paw-Paw teardrop, and the mini teardrop blender for detail work under the eye. They are better than Beauty Blender without doubt.

I go to that site all the time and they do occasionally do $1 shipping. I love their brushes. I usually only go for AOA brand things but I recommend checking it out.

You MUST try the AOA cream blushes (they are so so good!) and also the AOA liquid eyeliners. Both are the ShopMissA brand and are incredible. Also love their z palettes for holding those single shadows, which I’ve had pretty good luck with as well.

The AOA Lumi Blushes are fantastically pigmented and LAST if you are interested and place another order. Also the soft light setting loose powder from AOA is really really nice for undereyes especially.

I second your recommendation of the Amuse 9-pan purple palette. It is really pretty! I also got the one with the yellow/green/blue combination,& have been so happy with it. It performs wonderfully with amazing pigment. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I love their sponges...I buy them about 6 at a time and even after shipping to Australia it's still cheaper than a single beauty blender. I also really like their shadow sticks for the lower lashline and as a liner in general

My last order last order it was $9.95USD international shipping... it's flat rate shipping of 9.95 US for orders up to $30 which is easy to stay below when most things are a dollar

The AOA line is suppose to be their best items. I still haven't given them a try yet but there are alot of people who rave about the light pink sponge that has the regular shape of the beauty blender.

Carla...instead of the tatcha primer. Use the elf dupe. Poreless putty primer. Elf is a way better primer and is only 8.00 at Walmart. Love love love it!!!

But no longer can afford it sometimes. Granted, i dont wear it all the time, so i still have things from years ago that's good. (Shame on me i know). I rarely wear anything! But as i run out of things, i need alternative ideas

Jeni Watkins if it’s the original BM loose pigment-style makeup, its fine. A few years ago, someone sent some samples of their BM from before Leslie Blodgett and s8nc it was pure pigment, it didn’t go bad.

Ha! I just got a Miss A delivery today, and look what video you posted! I have ordered twice from the site when they ran a free shipping promo. Otherwise, you gotta spend $35 for free shipping, which is tough when everything is $1. My favorites have been the highlighters, eyebrow/dermaplaning blades, sponge beauty blender knock off (well, just got this today, but I already love it. Super soft and bouncy. Go with the Paw Paw collection), and some of the lippies. I have 3 eye palettes (Foxy, Wildflower, and...I forget... One of the bigger pallettes). The colors are patchy and don't blend well. I just got 2 mini matte eye pallettes today with very bright purples, pinks, red and chartreuse. We'll see how they apply! Next time there's free shipping, I'll stock up on K-beauty face masks. Enjoy!

I recently got my order from Shop Miss A - and wow. I was not disappointed. I got great pigmentation, good staying power, and the look I wore lasted until I washed it off at bedtime. Thank you for doing this video Zabrena, it's nice to be able to get makeup feedback that's honest.

You should try the Walmart brand pink sponge. It costs $2 with change. The sponge is good: soft, squishy and does the job. You can't go wrong with it.

The ones from Miss A are much cheaper and waaay better. The Paw Paws are sold in big bags of like 9 and sooo cheap! Just checked because it's been years since I bought one and their sponge is $1 now! However, they haven't improved it, as reviews indicate it's still stiff even when wet. If they are hard they are old. They should be soft enough to use straight out of the package. But the Walmart ones certainly work in a pinch and honestly I have gotten stiff, hard sponges from Real Techniques too 🫥

The pre-lash mascara primer is interesting. It is a tubing type of primer and is black instead of white. If you buy anything else, please try the pre-lash!

OMGoodness thank you!!! I have been so doubtful of Shop Miss A because of their cheap prices and never placed an order. This momma lives on social security and can't afford high end make-up and I have to be very careful how I spend my money. I also live in Florida by the way!! I'm north of you!! 💖💖💖

Really glad to see someone do a wear test on Shop Miss A. The reviews I've seen on KZfaq only do a first impression style video. The sponges are top-notch. I bought 5 last summer thinking that for a dollar they would tear up easy and I am still on my 2nd one and have 3 backups. I've made 3 orders in the past year and I have some favorites. I adore the eggs they have to store their beauty blender type sponges in. They are so perfect - you wash your sponge and then have a great place to store to dry and just to store in general. I love a ton of their AOA brushes. They have several sets that offer a bunch for $10 so I suggest people buy a set or two and decide for themselves which ones you adore because you cannot go wrong at that price. They have an AOA illuminating primer that I really like. Not sure if people with oily skin would like the glow it gives but with my dry skin I quite like it. In their Eye Primer section there are two Amuse eye primers - blank canvas and clean slate and both are really good. The next time I place an order I plan to try the AOA pressed powder in banana for under the eyes and the AOA perfect setting powder which Lauren Mae Beauty here on KZfaq adores. Lastly, the AOA Perfect BB cream is fantastic. I did not know which to buy so I got medium, light and tan and I mix and match as needed for how dark my skin is (I use a lot of self-tanners).

I love my little AOA egg-shaped sponge holder as well! I've never tried the MAC Paint Pots, but have heard that the Amuse primer is similar. I alternate between the Amuse primer & the one by Milani, & find that the Amuse primer is a bit more tacky. I've been very pleased with the AOA Perfect Setting Powder in the matte translucent. It's great for setting the undereye as well as getting rid of eyeshadow fallout. So many fabulous quality products, so little time! 😊 💖 👍🏻

I’m doing my makeup while watching this & was cleaning my AOA brushes, I love the pink set that also helps animal charity, I also love their pink beauty sponge that also donates to charity, their AOA brow mascara is amazing, & I like the Amuse eye shadow primer in the pot.

No matter what products you use you always turn out absolutely stunning. I can never wear that eyeshadow combination without looking ridiculous in on you all of your combinations are perfect. I'm definitely jealous of that!

I love the sponges, including the mini ones. I have tried the one you used but I liked the others more. Not sure if it was also the cut that I wasn't used to. The super soft sponges are incredibly soft.

I love the purple eyeshadow. Makes ur eyes pop and look so beautiful. My daughter whos 8 months old has red hair and blue eyes just like yours. It's so rare to have both combos and its so beautiful!

Wow, thanks for the great tip. I was unaware of the site, but after watching I checked it out and I have to say I placed an order and wow... under twenty bucks for a full face, eyelash curler, and shipping. Absolutely beautiful! Your frugal friday videos are always so helpful for me. I don't wear make up often, so when I do have an occasion that I do want to wear some, it's nice to know I can find quality stuff without burning a hole in my wallet. I also don't feel as bad if I only end up using it once or twice before the product's expire date. Thanks! Also love that your new lashes are named after your daughter. So precious! :D

I love their bb cream - it's the only thing that works on my skin and looks like skin and covers up my rosacea. I also use a brow gel product that love. I'm a redhead too and it looks beautiful. They also a great selection of face sheet masks.
