Agree. This angle and ProTracer really illustrate the flight and shape. So much more insightful than seeing a swing, cutting to a different angle tracking the ball so we can't gauge the flight, then seeing where it lands.

I prefer the shot at 8:15 if they had zoomed out a bit and stayed with the shot - I feel like that angle shows much better ball flight than the one you mention. You lose perspective with the sky as back drop imo.

Greatest putter on tour. Doesn't miss by much, and when he makes it's dead center. And a phenomenal wedge player. Damn good player, hope to see him win more often.

Zach is one of those underrated players, just because he doesn't hit it 320. He hits it around 260-275 on average, but he hits every fairway, every green, and putts really well. And has an excellent short game because he never short sides himself. I'm really surprised people don't like him as much as they should, he's a hell of a player. One thing people don't realize is that he has won over 5 events on tour, and he's only maybe one third through his career, he probably has around 15 more years to play if he doesn't break his back due to the modern swing. People playing in their 40's isn't impossible, Vijay did it and set some records, and all of the old time players played in their 40's. Sam snead played in his 50's and won his 82nd victory at age 52, almost 53. Longevity makes for a good career, so I'd think since Zach used a less harmful swing, he might last until he's around 47.

I don't understand why players playing in the open play in this event. I can understand Zach as he's a defending champion but surely the Scottish open would only help your chance of winning the open. But what do I know.

He played it in 2015 and went on to win the Open. You would think the Scottish Open is the move but maybe he likes playing the JD Classic just to build his confidence? idk
