Just because you have a bad game doesn’t mean you should be benched especially if you’re one of the stars on the team. It’s like if every team benches their best players because they aren’t having a good game.

carried us where??? lol The man's a streaky, albeit flashy one-way high volume scorer with the keys to a shitty organization. A fringe allstar that gets superstar pay, but is nowhere to be found in the clutch. No other team would pay dude the max to do what he does, unless they had no other option. Which is exactly why we're sitting here with him and he is here with us. He's a got the talent to be a team's 2nd or 3rd option offensively, and while his consistency would be one concern, he for sure doesn't have the heart, leadership or consistency to be the GUY. There just wasn't no one else around to get anywhere close in that type of discussion... and guess why DeRozan took over in a second? Because he's got a little more grit to him. That's all it is.

I’ve been saying this for awhile now. He did this to lauri which is why lauri wanted out. I said it before this season that lauri was going to ball out and guess which position lauri plays that we need the most? PF. Billy benched lauri when he came back from an injury last season by the time it was all said and done lauri wanted out. We traded lauri for a player who is borderline d league material who barely cracks the rotation. A player who basically averages over 20ppg at a position we haven’t filled since he left all because of good ole billy.
