This wasn't entirely on him. The Defense looked bad, the receivers looked bad and the O-Line looked bad. ZW isn't a "good" QB by any stretch. But to fully blame him is bonkers.

He does not have a football brain. That is all there is to it. No amount of coaching can fix that. He looked good at BYU because of the competition and things were simplified for him. When it comes to aspects of pre snap reads, ball protection, no staring down receivers, knowing when to release the ball and just basic accuracy on check downs; he struggles. A first round QB should not have so many basic deficiencies in the mental preparedness for the game. I am sure he looks over a lot of tape on his games and there is still no progress. This is beyond coaching or a bad offensive line. When a QB cannot complete one pass to a wide receiver in 3 quarters of play then you know there is something very wrong! This is not a rookie. He is in his 3rd year. We have seen far better QB play from younger less inexperience Quarterbacks.

As a loyal Jets fan, I've decided to stop wasting 3 hours of my life watching these losers play like shit every week (always the offense) Our defense is too good and doesn't deserve this horrendous play from our offense...EVERY YEAR. no longer am watching games, will only keep tabs until they're worth watching again which will probably be never haha..
