I am a straight male. And pretty damn sure of it. Zachary's sexuality affects my life in absolutely no way - I just want him to continue being a good actor. That was a nice story about his loved one, and that's it. We don't need to freak out on whether he likes boys or girls, y'know?

I agree. But unfortunately it´s still a kind of stigma (especially in the U.S) therefore it´s great to see Conan treat this story the same as any other relationship story. As it should always be but sadly still, even in 2016, in many cases aren´t.

@Kate B. That would be because the majority of people are straight. I know, what a surprise, but when someone doesn't know something, they will assume what is more likely to be. If you are in a country, you will assume that those fitting the description are natives. You will assume that something that looks like a candy tastes like it. You will assume that when you eat, it will come out again. Assuming things isn't bad like people paint it. It's natural. It's a recognition of patterns we put a label on. Sure, it's not always right, but *it's statistically right*, which is a big deal out in nature. And really, what's wrong with that? I don't go up to each and every person and ask them 100 questions about their preferences and history JUST so that I don't DARE assume stuff about them?

My god why are people still so hung up on homosexuality? He's gay, good for him, get over it. As far as I'm concerned we need more gay men and women; that way the population of this planet wouldn't be hitting 7,500,000,000 people now...three times what it was after the *END* of WWII... Genuinely some the nicest most caring people on the planet, in my experience, tend to be from the L.G.B.T. community...I can't say the same for the religious community...

I am smitten with ZQ. I'm a happily married 36 year old woman who doesn't stand a chance with him but I love him anyway. I was lucky enough to see him in 'The Glass Menagerie' (considering I'm from Indiana and don't get out NYC but once every few years) and I just made plans to go to NYC from 1/29 to 2/2 and I just found out that his play starts on 2/4. I had no idea he's gay. Not that I care, and I strongly support equal rights for *all* people, I just never knew that. Got a lot of respect for him now though, for being so open about it and not ashamed/embarrassed/shy about it. Just shows we've made progress, but there's still a lot of hate in the world... Still have a long way to go when it comes to love, equality, acceptance and understanding. Happy to see that the world seems to be moving in the right direction though.

I know him from AHS and in the first season I thought he really did a good job playing a gay man. Little did I know, he really was one. Although, in Asylum he was very convincing as a straight man.
