This team is actually legit. They went 10-3 that year, 7-0 in conference play in Cincinnati and their quarter back is now the NCAA d2 all time leading passer with like 15k+ yards. Guess these speeches worked lol

@SimoNemo7 Жыл бұрын
@@jamilsayegh9127 soccer is my number one sport. But there’s nothing like football for brotherhood. Soccer is continuous clock and an art of patience to some degree. Football is more momentum and very detailed with play calling and clock stopping. While there is definitely some overlap tactically…Soccer is formations, tactics and subs. Football is key on matchups matchups, mental and way more physical. While both requiring stamina. Both great. Just way different and brotherhood wise football is more short bursts of emotion while soccer is elongated and like I said more of an art. It’s called the beautiful game for a reason.

You can motivate your team without making up a story. There are plenty of real life stories he can tell without butchering the bible. He meant well, and I am sure most of his players never knew he got it all wrong but that's not the point. It is not being negative to point out when a statement is not true. Are you kidding? The media makes a living out of doing that every day. If people did not demand accuracy then we would really be in a pickle.

Players and assistant coaches hanging on the Head coaches’ every word. Teenage boys on the cusp of becoming men, leaving their school days behind and moving on to a new chapter in their lives. The sport that brought them all together is likely about to end after the season and they share one more game together as a team. The bond they share is evident in their reaction to the coaches’ words and prayer - this is what sport does, this is the power it has. I would guess that some of them will even have their own families and children now and whatever each of them are doing today I would imagine they often think back to these times and this day and look on it with pride and happiness. The coach seems like an amazing man, his players would have left everything out on the field for him and his team, god bless them all.

I love this story! However, David’s dad was Jesse, Samuel was a prophet of God chosen to find Israel next king! Saul was the king and he ruled outside of Gods will! God chose David for his heart and I think that is the core of the story! It’s important to know the story in context and relate it accurately! It’s inspiring to see Coach use scripture but he needs to know the story in full! Knowing about God and the Bible will not get anyone to Heaven. Knowing God personally through Jesus Christ will make all the difference! John 3:16-17!

Some of these negative comments.. if you have nothing nice to say LEAVE! This is so much greater than winning the game. So what if they didn't win? It doesn't matter... The beauty of this is that you can feel their emotions, it is chilling. I strongly believe that if you believe in God you already have the greatest advantage. I am an A and B student at a university, I have failed exams that I prayed for... Yet, I failed to study for that particular exam. You cannot depend on everything to be given to you. It is about meeting Him half way, the other team must of just been better and practiced harder. It is what is inside that is rewarding and peaceful. Do not comment on stuff if you're just going to offend me and the other people who have strong faith. Thank you...

To all the know it alls who comment on this video. It doesn't matter if you believe in religion or whether the story is true or not! I dont believe in any religion. The video is about trying to get the kids motivated and pumped up to win. Going off alot of posts they lost the game. So what? They can pick themselves up and go again. Nobody is unstoppable and they will have there time. Back to the point. This video is awesome! !!

And Saul was the king David was chosen to replace, because of Saul's wickedness and disobedience. Samuel was the prophet God sent to call David.
