Same! That’s what I thought. I had hypnosis once and I’d snap out of it at times. I was still relaxed but the longer it went on I actually felt the sensations like (ice going down your back etc)

The only part that has me thinking it's fake is when he sprinkled the sleep dust in Jason's hand and he acted like he was asleep

@@louie_loudstien i thought that too but then again I remembered Jason is an actor and he was improvising. From what I know when you are doing that you can’t say no, you have to accept what you’re given and keep it going so it makes sense he did that. That’s why I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, because everything else was fairly convincing

Cause the video where he tried Jason he was the hardest one to get it to work on cause Jason wasnt as open to it so it kinda worked on him but they got matt good with the aliens I'm supprised his reaction didnt involve screaming lol

Hamm, hypnosis is real but this is not real hypnosis. Hypnosis doesn’t cause you to forget what happened while under hypnosis and it certainly doesn’t do all this! It’s actually a heightened state of focus.. I’m a hypnotherapist and you are correct, this video is scripted and it’s frustrating to watch people misrepresent hypnosis

I finally clicked one out of curiosity as he seems popular with the algorithms and the youngsters (haha- I am saying that ironically 😜In case that wasn’t clear). The reason I ask is I am curious to know if his videos are always fake?

jason did that bc he thought he was supposed to pretend to go to sleep as a part of the lorde act when the hypnotist gave him the "sleep dust". he wasn't trying to act like he had been hypnotized. he was just going along with what he was supposed to do for the hypnotist. he didn't realize that the "sleep dust" was what he was going to give to matt to put him back to sleep

Totally same. Or even used more. After rading Dave Elman's book I even have the feeling it was used more in the 80's and 90's than nowadays which is a big shame, considering how much we can do with it. Just turning our critic and other opinions off for a moment to consider what it is "we" want and can actually achieve easily when not being hold back by our or other opinions. Glad I was able to use it to my advantage to get rid of my anxiety, but I'd like to help other people now, too, and I know hypnosis so damn misunderstood. It's such a waste, imo, how people react (well, relateable considering the movie depictions of it) and people should be more educated about it :( So yeah, same.

I got hypnotized once in front of a lot of people, I didn’t go under as far as they did but I was still able to “relax” and it really boosted up my confidence at the time, mostly because I felt like I was the only person in the room.

He is choosing to see all those things that are not actually reality. That shows so much intellegence to be able to have your mind control your perspective on your reality, even if it’s through the influence of someone else. I think the highest form is if youre able to control that yourself
