It’s official you are my favorite KZfaq .... I love my Osmo action it is such an ideal vlogging tool I recently took it on a three day fishing trip and documented the whole thing and I simply cannot believe quality even the audio. It doesn’t sound very good out of the camera but it gives you plenty to work with in post production. I don’t have a fraction of your skills in editing but I can make it look pretty dang good

Very little folks will admit this, but this camera is in MANY ways better than the GoPro.

I know you mentioned your computer was slow, I can relate too because I always have to do proxies for my 4k footage which sucks because I have to wait longer to edit -_- but thankfully I'm building a new PC which is going to smoke my current one. Great video! My OSMO comes in this WED so excited to start playing with it.

2021 and I've just exchanged my GoPro Hero 7 Black to DJI Osmo Action. I have also the GoPro Hero 8 Black for SuperView, but I'll sell it after DJI Osmo Action 2 released. In my opinion DJI Osmo Action is the best action camera right now. No more glitchy GoPro. BTW really good video. Thx!

I love your color grading, would love to see how you do it! Constructive criticism of the advertising of your film school: Personally i would not pay for a school were the teacher is busy with how he looks when filming. For me the shot is the most important, not how I look like when i shoot it. Looking cool but getting shitty footage, looking like a dork and great footage, easy pick for me. Keep up the great work!

Another great vid Zach, thanks a lot ! I watched other videos about that Osmo Action and it seems like when you enable the stabilization, the playback is too slow compare to what's happening in front of you, did that happen to you ?

Nice vid! Filmed some beach stuff with the Osmo Action. It has a nice stabilization, but the video quality is really not that great. compression artifacts everywhere!! Tried to go against it with neat video 5, but stilllll.... could be better :-/

I get a lot of noise in my shadows when i filmed ith the osmo action camera. does anyone know why/what i can do to the settings to change it? I think i shot it in auto exposure so im thinking thats why, but i seen some youtube videos with people shooting in auto and their shadows in trees and mountains arent noisy. Any help?

Do you use Auto ISO? I have the Action camera but am afraid to use AUTO ISO because of its tiny sensor... what settings would you suggest? I can probably do auto but limit to 800?

Looking super cool Man. But why didn’t you shot it on 4K and create proxy for post and Finally export in 4K if you have a compertably slow mac? It deserved a 4K treatment Man :)

Why was it weird to treat the osmo like a cinematic camera in the first place?

I'm totally new to action cams but I really think that GoPro cams are way overpriced
