Kind of like talking to a comatose patient. They can’t respond but they can hear you, and it’s good to know you care and keep them mentally stimulated.

for all to remember, he was carrying and carring for cloud the ENTIRE TIME that means EVERYTHING toilet included, he helped this man in ways you would not do for most others he died for him and he stayed positive because he saw the light and hope at the end of that tunnel cant help but love what kind of a person he is and i do think thats why is one of the most popular characters of FF7 verse

Even during my initial playthrough of the PSP version in '07, this hit me. Cloud at this point was Zack's last true friend and was doing everything to help him.

I wouldn’t say doing *everything* to help him. Lol actually didn’t do nothing at all, only because he was mostly comatose. The only thing he did was crawl to him at Zacks death an was there for him in his last moments. Also Cissnei was still his friend an helped him out. An Tseng wanted the Turks to make it to Zack and Cloud *first* to save them. But the Shinra Army got to them first. Kunsel an Luxiere, would of helped him too. If they were in a position too at the time. For Cloud he just happen to be there with Zack when all this went down. But I get what you mean.

Zack story is a sad one. He was filled with stress, grief and sadness. But had a good heart and kept on pushing. Hope he links with aerith in a positive light in rebirth. He was a true hero taking care of cloud like that

Zack and cloud was both experimented on, but since zack was already a SOLDIER he took the mako backlash rather fine. But even so bro took care of cloud and fought troopers while being poisoned himself.
