This is from the horribly bad Saved By The Bell: The New Class. Where NBC tried to keep the series going. It failed. This show was just filler 'till California Dreams came on anyway! haha This was the only part of the whole series that was worth anything IMO.
So here's the set up leading to clip. This old guy wants to buy Bayside and put up apartments. The students, Mr. Belding, & Screech want to stop him. They figure out they'll find the only friend he ever had and set up some mock-prom for him and he'll cave. Well he needed a little extra push and this is where this clip comes in... enjoy!

When the old cast greeted eachother, it was almost as if they were actually seeing eachother for the first time in years but not as Zack, Lisa and Slater but as Mark, Lark and Mario.

I'm 31. I got 3 kids. And I got chills when Zack walked in. Grew up on this show. I don't care how many episodes the new class had, the original was something special.

If you count the college years technically there is the same amount 😊.The reason it ran for a shorter time was because they did another version of the show with the same cast before Saved by the Bell. But it ended because they were too old to be still in high school I men zac was 25 and still in high school lol

1] He was dressed as Elvis. Probably hardly recognized him 2] Was a running gag of the series, due, kinda like how all the Looney toons know Daffy's pivotal, but EVERYONE disses the duck anyway! 3] At least its better than the Robot Chicken episode where they all tried to kill him in a parody of SAW [and yes, most of the old actors played their characters]

I know, didn't like that part at all. They seemed like a clique and not the crew I grew up with when they treated Screech like that, rubbed me the wrong way. I know that would've bothered me if I were Dustin, acting like they were better or somethin'. I wish that Dustin had a girlfriend and that Lisa chased after him, even if it were one episode, just to even it out.

As far as I remember Screech was working at the High School at that moment (he was a cast member of New Class) and not in College with the other guys.

Actually, a lot of this wasn't widely known, but "Screech" Dustin Diamond had said a lot of bad things about the cast around that time. Dustin Diamond was also in the process of writing his book dispelling all the lies and scandals of the entire cast of Saved by the Bell during the 80's and 90's. Dustin went on to try to character assassinate the entire cast. So yeah, I can see why they didn't like him. They weren't acting. They were probably pissed off at him because he was trying to ruin their careers.

47Cartoonguy I read up on his escapades and basically screech tried to monetize behind the scenes gossip etc. He then tried to distance himself from it but, the rest of the cast didn't buy it. Basically Screech has been a financial mess since the original SBTB ended.

It was actually in 1994. Dustin Diamond (Screech) was brought on to "The New Class" after "The College Years" was cancelled. This was Part 2 of a two-part episode that was the second season finale; and Mark-Paul, Mario, and Lark (Zack, Slater, and Lisa) were guest stars for this episode, as a way of boosting any ratings. The show limped through two more years before it ended in 1997.

I Would have liked to have seen Mrs. Bliss, Mikey, Nikki, and Mylo show up as well. THAT would have REALLY been a surprise,to go back that far (junior high, and "Good Morning Miss Bliss") in the show's history. Also an appearance by Kelly and Jessie would also have been nice. Still, it was a great to see at least some of the old cast make a surprise appearance

Slater's hot and all, but when Lisa came back and tried to buy the school on layaway, it touched me. I love Lisa! I am still in lust with Zack even though they all dissed Screech, not cool. Don't come back for a reunion and diss one of your own, no one wants to see that mess. They should've made a Saved by the bell/California dreams/guys next door crossover. That would've been epic!!!

AMAZING!

I think you're right. That had to be one of the best casted tv shows. Each character was very specific and all these years later, I still remember them. There is a new movie that just came out call "The Unauthorized Story of Saved by the bell" it tells us the true story of the show! Behind the scene, how it all started and everything and everyone hates screech in real life and it's so shocking on all the things they went through! Drugs and everything!! You just have to watch it to understand!
