Zack Snyder’s Game of Thrones | Teaser Style
They've never faced us before. Not us, united.
After watching the trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League, I couldn't help but notice some parallels between the shots used in the trailer and in Game of Thrones. I thought this would make for a fun opportunity to play around with aspect ratios and crafting a trailer that is purely reliant on the visual storytelling and music. And may I add, a fantastic music choice in Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah'.
I also thought this would make for a great mashup, considering the history of both properties having a certain reputaion with their respected fanbases.

Ronan Mccabe game of thrones would’ve been a lot better if the writers had a human look in the camera and having blue eyes like night king and saying I will avenge the night king.

Quite funny how there was also a lot cut from the Night King battle in Winterfell. Maybe with the miracle that was the Snyder Cut we can also get the Night King Cut? At this point anything is possible

Imagine Daeneris actually dying at Winterfell, as a true queen dying for her people. The rest follow John out of instinct, including Jaime Lannister who kinda becomes Jon's Bron for a couple episodes as they do retreat with maybe 1 dragon alive. I can't bother thinking further, what's the point it's never happening.

Game of Thrones: The Snyder Cut. This trailer was better than the whole of Season 8. I remember I hated the final season so much, I decided to rewrite it myself into a ten page script. Upon letting my family and friends read it, they all say they prefer my version to the real one. Great cut, really shows off the great cinematography. Why did you decide to leave out the vignette? Not appropriate for medieval fantasy? Cause I don't believe you forgot it. ^^

Thanks mate. I was really considering the vignette, but then I saw that not every shot in the original trailer had a vignette from the lens, so I opted not to in the end. I also felt it wasn't really necessary too.

@@ImperatorCuts It took away some of the vintage feel, but it provided more screen real estate for the beautiful shots, and it was more appropriate to the setting. Your trailer feels different to the JL one because of this, but for what it's worth, I think you made the correct decision.
