Zack Synder always wanted to work on a Star Wars A-rated project but got rejected. Star Wars moved to Disney for pg 13 content and Zack came up with Rebel Moon

but the Army of the dead was a horrible movie. Better to keep the hopes low, because a lot of things going on the trailer which looks so much for a two hour long movie. let's wait and see

This was originally supposed to be a Star Wars movie that Zack pitched to Disney before he did Man of Steel. Disney turned it down since it was too "mature".

This story is apparently a script that Snyder pitched Disney for a Star Wars movie but was rejected, so he turned it into its own IP.

Zack Snyder pitched this movie originally to Lucasfilm as a Star Wars movie, and they passed on it cause Zack wanted to make a mature movie with original characters not connected to the other Star Wars movies. So Disney/Lucasfilm made the sequel trilogy instead. That's why there's major Star Wars vibes

If zack made star wars those gonna be massive hits. As a sound designer and producer I always blown away with sound productions of zack movies. It's not just Thames in like marvel. Zack always make the emotion behind movie scores. And this like mix between G.O.T star wars John charter or something I didn't remember name / batman

Yeah with Achara: the intro with wheat fields seemed ripped straight from Gladiator. It looks fine, really derivative of other things, but that can still be done well

I think it looks like star wars cause it was going to be a star wars story. Lucas Film didn't pick it up for whatever reason and Snyder made it his own original story.

Disney and kathleen kennedy rejected zacks idea of the movie because they want that the characters from star wars should stay the same from what zacks idea pitched in... so instead, zack removed all ideas and characters related to star wars and made rebel moon...as you can see in this trailer, u can see shots and scenes that are related to all movies he did...that slow motion from 300 is one of them...

Looks awesome! I get Dune vibes from it, but like it's not going to be as slow and boring as Dune. There will be some ideas derived from Star Wars, but SW lost its way a while ago, so personally welcoming another option in the Scifi/Fantasy space. I think this looks like a movie for theatre so I hope it is released on the big screen. Can't wait to see it!

I really didn't enjoy Dune too much because of that, and not in a "I hate talking because it's boring way." It just didn't pop and jive that much. And it should've because it was a purposely star-studded cast.
