I was surprised that some of my Thai and Indonesian friends (whom I met during our teaching internship in Lampang, Thailand) actually listen to Pano. They are also amazed about the notion that most of the Filipinos can actually sing.

This song hurts like hell. I was just a normal university girl trying to survive college. Then I met this guy. We got close. He courted me. Things were going okay. He would cheer me up when I'm sad. He would listen to my stories and rants. He would always ask me how my day went. He would send me song covers. He would also give me assurance every time. I also did things to make him feel special and cared for. Each day, I was slowly becoming more sure of my feelings until I became sure that I already love him. I was just waiting for him to say it first. Until one day he told me he wasn't sure of his feelings and that we should stop what's going on between us. That shattered my heart into tiny little pieces. I didn't know what to do. I actually thought we were on the same page but unfortunately we weren't. It hurts because he left as if I was never a reason to stay. Just like that, he let go of my hand. Just like that, my favorite person was gone. We talked about random things. Day goes by, I fell for him. He was the “too good to be true” na sinasabi nila. He always listens to my kadaldalan. Even praised me for being smart, beautiful and for being lovely. He gave me the attention & attention that I keep on seeking from other people. And dumating ‘yong gabi na niligawan niya ako. The same night, I found out that he already have a girlfriend. Naka-set into a relationship status niya on fb. I confronted him and asked him if ano niya ‘yong babae, which is obviously girlfriend niya. And tama nga. I told him that we should stop the thing going on between the two of us. This song really hits me hard, I never expected to fall in love with her. I invested all of my time admiring, caring, loving her. She showed me love and I thought she felt the same way I did to her, I made her my comfort person. We both valued our studies. She was a working student in our school and I even waited until 6:30pm where she was done for her shift, which I don't usually do to people where in I have strict parents, but yeah I waited for her so she could have someone on her side going home. It was the exact moment that I heard this song when I decided to tell her how I really felt, I told her; "I never expected that my feelings for you would grow eventually to the point where I can't go on about my day without thinking about you." which she replied; "I'm sorry but we're just not on the same page." I had this girl, she is my crush since Im in 3rd year Junior high school. I like her because she is simple, and I notice others keeping away from me because Im quite different except for her. Im just a nobody back in days, a background person, a guy that is optional. No one likes to be pair with me even in group activities. I admit I have hard time in highschool, I get bullied, I just steel my self and learn to throw hands if needed and also thanks to this treatment I become independent even others doesnt wan't to be with me I just think that "Well f*ck it, I'm doing it my self". Some of my teachers ask where is your pair or groupmates and Im just proud to say I am myself. So back to her, I fell for her for the first time we dance in PE. I am thinking of courting her by asking her to be my pair for prom. I was so happy when she agreed. But few days someone from my classmate also ask her and both of them become partners in prom. I felt quite sad and decided to not join afraid seeing them together. At first I thought they were interested in each other but turn out it wasn't. So I attempted to court her again, this time I wanted to give her something in Valentines, but devils luck someone gave her a gift first and the worst is theyre in relationship back then till our 4th year . I feel sad again and distance my self, I just turn my attention to computer games that time to forget I am broke. Grade 11 we are in same school again but different strand/course. She's quite shy to be friends with her new classmates so for some time were talking casually and Im teaching her ways of dealing people. I know she still with her BF so I still keep maintain my distance to her. But for sometime they broke up because of their relationship getting toxic. She was that sad and become melo-dramatic. She kinda lost her confidence for herself. So I kinda cheer her up and give some comfort. That time we become too close to each other to the point naghihintayan kami para sabay umuwi kahit iba yung schedule namin, if early dismissal kmi hinihintay ko sya palagi sa lobby ng campus namin and siya rin if early dismissal siya hinihintay niya rin ako kahit medyo late minsan labas namin. And kinakatok ya din lagi yung bintana ng room namin if dumadaan siya(Nasatabi lang ng bintana upuan ko). Tapos yung mga katabi ko nag rereact "😏".. I saw her smile again kaya pinigilan ko muna sarili ko ligawan siya ulit. Im afraid to loose our closeness and fondness for each other. Nag hihintay lang ako ng right time. Kaso di niya ako nahintay. That time pala na magkasama kaming dalawa sa mga uwian, gala, bagyo(yes kung saan may bagyo na dun pa nag didismiss school namin) nagka feelings rin siya para sakin. So ayun I distance my self again, then na notice niya ito we had small arguement bout this bakit daw di ko na siya masyado kinakausap attitude ko kasi if "I am not needed I just go". So I just told her "Its a courtesy for your BF" she didnt understand my answer and I keep it that way. So ayun I turn my attention to gaming again and focus on my self. Then one time from distance *literal*. I saw her smile and she got friends now. So napaluha ako ng kaunti and I am both sad and happy, sad for myself and happy for her. Pa check² ako s phone ko kunwari busy then tinawagan ko na lang si papa na pasundo ako sa event. Then ayun umalis nako ng di nag papaalam. Di niya man lang ako hinanap pero sige na lang. Then for days simula nung naging close siya sa friends niya di ko na siya masyado nakakasam, bihira narin kmi mag sama umuwi, minsan pina pa una niya nako kahit hinihintay ko siya. So after few months of waiting sa result, nagalit siya sakin kasi di daw kami same ng course and mas nagalit siya nung sinabi ko "Pinag tripan ko ng kaunti yung entrance exam" Pero okay lang naman kami. So this time nag pasya nako liligawan ko na siya talaga and I did. Things goes smoothly we become in a relationship but not official. Kaso there goes arguements, may time na nag aaway kami sa simpleng usapan, feeling niya kasi na kala niya minamaliit ko siya kahit hindi naman, yung problem lang sa kanya is medyo stubborn ugali niya.
