"When I'm Alone" does not involve the Queen, as it is not part of _Queen of the Murder Scene._ It is on their previous album, _XXI Century Blood,_ and is actually personal to Dany.

Important to know for the next song. In this song, the queen has him tied and is tells him how she feels. When he rejects her (understandably) she kills him in a fit of rage (the manic part near the end) the piano outro is her singing to his corpse. This is what TW have said about it, not just being dark.

Probably the most under rated The Warning song.

You figured it out spot on. When the manic build ends, so does he. The switch back to the gentle ending is her singing to his now deceased corpse.

Dany completely embodies this character during this performance. While absolutely knocking it out of the park musically.

Dany screaming the vocals in the second half of the song is just hauntingly beautiful. Her ability to channel the emotions required to sell the story and make you believe are just next level. One of my very favorite songs/performances. The Sacrifice is also a good.

These are just epic performances. So glad it was all recorded. The Queen of the Murder Scene album is such a fantastic story. Dany really gets into character. Thanks for review.

This isn’t one of my favorite songs, but it is one of my favorite Dany performances. She just goes full send in this, truly embodying the character of the Queen.

Dany's conviction in this song is absolutely undeniable! This is full-send delivery and completely in character as the evil queen. She has her object of desire captive and performs the final deed. ☠️⚰️🪦

At the Lunario concert, the chapters of Queen of the Murder Scene are broken up by songs from the previous album XXI Century Blood: Unmendable, When I'm Alone, XXI Century Blood, Copper Bullets, and they end with Survive.

Dany in full character here Zack...she embodies the Queen here. She is absolutely incredible, this should be a rock Opera on Broadway without a doubt, hopefully some day...the entire Album need to be on stage...best concept album in decades...have seen and heard them all in 60 years. Thanks Zack.

"Let me in your heart" Anatomically, that's exactly what she's doing.

Homie's eyes are taped open. "LOOK AT ME MY DEAR". "Lets go dark they said". "Let's go darker they said". "Let's talk to a corpse we've killed out of obsession we said". Sheesh. I love how shockingly passionate Dany's portrayal of the stalker is. Nobody wants to be the focus of that, it's completely terrifying.

QOTMS stands alone as a work of art. I would love to see Pau direct a movie version of it one day along the theme of the QMQ OMV. And they were 18, 16 and 14 years old in 2018 when they released this concept album, younger when they wrote and composed it.

*Stalker* the difference between those last lyrics and the earlier ones in the song really expose the "point of no return"... especially the change of "will be" to "are" 🤯 every time i hear this song, i get goosebumps on goosebumps and waves of chills down my back... i mean 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Wow! Holy S..t. I have listened to the entire album, but I have been holding off on watching Lunario for some reason. I've watched Teatro probably 75 times. I didn't think that I could ever be more in awe than what I have been exposed to. I was already convinced that the lyrics and musical arrangements were stellar, but the performance. I'm convinced that these young ladies can do anything that they put their minds to. I sure hope that they love performing as much as I love watching and listening. Thanks for reacting to this. When I'm Alone is a song solely written by Dany, and it was spawned from feeling homesick when they were at the Berkeley College of Music in Boston. The opportunity they got from being on the Ellen Show. Dany was 15, and she had to come up with a song for her final assignment. She didn't have anything to start with, but she used her feelings of being homesick and was the catalyst for When I'm Alone. It is awesome that it is still a part of many of their setlists. This song is from XXI Century Blood, not QOTMS.

Probably, from waht i hear on this album, the final parts "Watch me, touch me singed with almost a rage, i s when she's killing it... and the final, when she maybe has yet the knife bleeding in her hands, she is calming down and tell "look at me my dear..." to her love at this point, already dead!! Disturbing, very creepy... great song!

yes, in the Lunario concert, each chapter of three QOTMS tracks ends with a 4th track from another album... i guess to kind of fill out the set... Dany is totally in character this entire concert!! Ale is always in her groove, and Pau is killing it

Yesterday, I looked again at they first fully recorded set, a concert they gave in their high school (Liceo de Monterrey) in 2015. Gosh, they were really good already then. They played some covers (Ale was incredible in Hysteria) and then some of their early songs including Free Falling, Escape the Mind and Exterminated. You might have a look at some of them.

people sometimes talk about how dany vocals have gotten better overtime, i dont think so, she has always had great vocals, Queen of the murder scene is sung from a crazy womans perspective, even 21 century blood had a different kind of swag to it, but when you see her old music videos or listen to audio tracks from early on she had it nailed then, same with Pau, they just sound so much better now because they can afford the best equiptment to push it better, i prefer TW first 2 albums over the last 2 but thats only because of that crunchy guitar sound dany got from her early guitars and pedals, plus Ale had more treble in her backup vocals from being young and the way she beast handled breaking in that bass slinging it around like a ragdoll, im all with the new especially how teatro turned out, best ever, so theres that but i do hope for a greatest hits one day with a bunch of older tunes remade with the new equiptment like when im alone, still would like a 3 min solo for show me the lights so david gilmore best solo ever can be taken down 1 notch

Ya gotta speed read some of the comments from last reaction of When I'm Alone. That song has absolutely no connection to QOTMS. It's just Dany, being a little depressed and homesick. As for the song...one of my favorites. Why? Because Dany throws herself into character so completely. Watch it again and pay complete attention to the facial expressions from Dany. Her conveying of Pau's story is masterful. And the music is so riveting. Ale's menacing bass runs, Pau's fills, and Dany's guitar. And NO, I don't have a shovel in my trunk!

wow zack you miss a lot of character moments by looking away so much but all in all it was still a great reaction, i know some folks want to read lyrics, i get it and totally understand it, This one got seriously nasty bloody, everytime Dany belted she pounded it even deeper into his skull, heart or wherever she put it, i'm thinking she sitting on his lap in bed or up against bed post, she drove it in as passionately deep as it could go, very bloody scene, should go down in RNR HOF as best performance,

***Spoiler Alert*** Apparently when Dany was playing the intro to Stalker on the keyboard she inadvertently changed a setting. At the end of the song when Dany goes back to play keyboard again it sounds different from the studio version. This pops up again towards the end of the show when Ale plays the keyboard on The End. Ale starts playing the intro and it’s not right and Dany comes over and they collectively figure out what’s wrong before Dany counts Ale back into the intro and they start the song. If you watch the full version of that song you’ll see what I’m saying. Most reactors either skip past it or watch the individual song performance instead of the video from the entire concert so it doesn’t get shown. It doesn’t add anything to the performance other than being a part of the actual concert and the “mistakes” and how TW handle them are part of their charm.

*When I'm Alone* is a song they PERFORMED at Lunario as a chapter separator. It is not part of QOTMS. Stalker is where the action is in the story, however. Dany becomes a maniacal killer in character here. Ale looks a bit disturbed in this, at if she knows a murder is about to occur. Pau just beats the $#!t out of her kit as if it's all perfectly normal, until it's not. She leaves literary dead bodies everywhere, like Patricia Cornwell writing a novel.

Bingo. You guessed it. He’s toast at the end of this song. They leave it a little vague in spots and you have to draw your own interpretations, which isn’t always good for me because I’m so freakin dense. I missed this for quite a while and it made the next songs a little confusing. This album is a masterpiece in my opinion.
