Tim also can do the crazy vocal runs that you would more expect from austin or rob. Hes got such vocal flexibility that isnt often showcased.

SO GOOD! Love that Tim's bringing back doo-wop 🥰 (Now we know what a 5-octave range really sounds like❣️) And to think he might have gone into dentistry or teaching and we would've missed out on his musical genius 🤯 This is so unbelievably fabulous! I only wish this video didn't fade out before he hits that final high note! I really want to hear his incredible finale to this gorgeous arrangement! ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #TimFoust

I knew Tim was amazing but I didn’t know he was that crazy! For anyone who is a fan & wants to know more about Tim, Peter Barber did a full interview with him on his Vocal Arts channel called “Tim Foust: A Life of Bass” 8 months ago. 💜💜💜

I had never heard that version before! That was so cool! I never knew he could hit notes that high. 😮😮😮

If I remember right Tim was going for tenor in school when he had a late voice change. We're very lucky that he was able to keep the tenor range to entertain everyone with along with the bass.

Sometimes it’s a lot to listen to all at once. But I can’t pass up listening to Tim. Thanks for your comments!

The engineer in the control room is an OLD friend of Tim's - they sang together over 20 years ago in a group called Blue Jupiter, and have worked together off and on since then.

Tim and Chance can both sing all of the vocal ranges found in Home Free from the bass on up to the tenor.
@johndeeregreen45925 ай бұрын
Chance has been HF's secret weapon since he joined the group. He can cover non-lyric basslines, baritone, and low tenor, which really expands solos, while Chance covers higher harmonies or takes over basslines so Tim can solo. I mean, he is a bass-baritone, so he doesn't have Tim's resonance down low, but he can definitely do it.

I agree, Chance brought a new secret sauce to the group when he joined. I'm hoping as much as we are going to miss Austin, that the new member opens up new songs they never thought they could do with their current five members. Maybe they'll even add a female to the group.@@johndeeregreen4592

Tim Faust, AKA Triple T, is the Host of Dog Pound Reactions. He's done a ton of reactions to Home Free videos, which includes Tim Foust. Home Free joined Peter Hollens for the stunningly beautiful version of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, which I highly recommend.

I love his CD "Pieces of Me" - I've always loved doo-wop & I keep wishing that they'd sing "Looking for an Echo" (it would have to be updated!). Tim has such a fantastic range. He has a couple of duets with Austin ("My Maria" & "What's It To You" on Austin's channel). They're a vocal yin & yang and they sound terrific together.

Ha! Love the shocked look. Speaking of the Beach Boys, he does a great cover of In My Room - also on his doowop album. The Shirelles did do this - I'm thinking before The Four Seasons, but I could be wrong. That would pronounced Sure - ells - accent on the ells..

Another great rendition by Tim Foust. Love his new cd with all the older doo-wop songs. His voice really suits this genre of music. We know he can really bring the bass but how about his falsetto? He has a 5 octave range. I have always loved these 2 songs from 1960 "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles & "Stay" by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs.

I feel that, if Tim had never found Home Free, he would be headlining a Doo Wop regrowth in the world. His voice and styling fit PERFECTLY here. If you haven't already reacted to it, Home Free covers Mayday and it also includes Tim outside of his bass "comfort zone". (comfort for the listener - where we are USED to hearing him)
