My one issue with the newest Rogers Centre renovations

The Toronto Blue Jays did an AMAZING job of transforming this dumpy stadium into a world-class baseball venue, but did they make it TOO nice? I walked all around the 100 Level in foul territory to see the newest renovations up close, and there was a lot on my mind. What do YOU think about the new-look Rogers Centre?
This was also a special day because the Jays wore their City Connect uniforms and used a commemorative baseball for the occasion during the game, so my number one goal was to snag one. Did I succeed? What do you think of Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s pitching windup? How close did I get to Gunnar Henderson and the rest of the Baltimore Orioles? Which of the standing-room sections is your favorite? Why did I go to the upper deck AFTER the winning run scored?

Thanks for the immersive video attending an MLB game! It took me back to when I was a kid in the 1980s, shagging batting practice home runs in the right field seats of the Metrodome. I got my first ball autographed by the player who hit it - Toby Harrah of the Rangers. After moving to the middle of nowhere in Montana, I haven't been to an MLB game since 1989, and all three MLB stadiums I attended games in have long since been demolished. I need to get back to an MLB game to see one in person again.

This is the kind of guy that you want to have a beer with. Dude follows the Orioles around and in the process makes a banger Skydome video....ooops I mean Rogers...highlighting the renos. Much respect from a Blue Jays fan from day one that was lucky enough to be at the game when Joe Carter hit the home run over the left field fence to win the World Series.

Awesome vid Z! Here’s my thoughts: I love the idea of that section, just not in the area it’s in. If you had that same concept in a different part of the stadium, it’d be so much easier! Easier to see the game without the netting, and easier for us ball hawks to snag balls!

I remember Jesse from the first time you met him when you posted him on your insta story when you met him at your Spring Training meet n greet at Tempe Market in Arizona in 2018. Good to see him all these years later on your KZfaq channel. He did make one brief appearance during bp in a video you made in Oakland in 2018, but never got to talk to him on camera. Yeah, I remember just about everybody, haha.

Honest question here. Do you think the new layout is a factor in fewer HR's being hit at the Rogers Center. Over the past 20 years the Rogers Center has been a top 5 stadium for HR's and with the new set up I'm thinking it has disturbed the jetstream....

i've been to rogers stadium dozens of time and I will say the sheer amount of people at BP in HR zones makes it near impossible to catch a ball there. I have no idea how zach does it so effortlessly. I hope one day I make my childhood dreams come true and snag one for me or my kid LOL... been a 50+ year wait up until this point as a local Torontonian

I have followed your channel, and read your books. I am a Giant fan,and attended several games over 3 trips from NZ. Any advice on: The most ‘relaxed’ stadium (Oracle Park) ids VERY strict on access and seating. Where would you recommend for a road trip of other stadia, and the ‘cheapest’ way of visiting and staying. At Wrigley you can ballhawk outside the stadium before it opens. Milwaukee has a good foul ball spot, I don't remember where it is though. Busch is a relatively hard stadium, I'd hang over at the opposing bullpen Kansas City opens in sections, one gate opens early and you can go to the outfield but you have to stay behind the fountains.

Hey Zack how is my favorite ballhawk doing? Those city connect jerseys for the Blue Jays well they look ok but I do like the Brewers and the Mariners connect jerseys a bit more. I am on the board with a baseball my first one of 2024. I only have been to 1 MLB game and just to say it was not pretty. My Brewers got there ass kicked pretty bad by the Bronx Bombers 15 to 3 or something like that.

I don't have a problem partitioning off the premium seats. One of the problems at Rogers Centre is people who paid for cheap seats will scurry on down after the 1st inning and take supposedly empty seats. It's pretty easy to do by looking at a map of Rogers Centre to see which seats haven't been sold.
