This video is showing how we replace the gearbox bearings in Vauxhall's M32 gearbox. This isn't a tutorial video and I explain how things can go wrong with this job if you're not clued up about the shimming process. I hope you enjoy the video and hot the like button when you're done 👍

Great job, thanks for sharing.🏴🏴 As a Meriva VXR owner I watch this video with interest. My box whines in 5th (very slightly and only when hot), no gear stick movement on throttle on/off, but it’s stiff across neutral sometimes not centring, other than that it’s perfect😂

Should the bearings be set to 0mm or +0.10mm or more? What should the bearing fit in M32 be?

Says job is not for the home mechanic because bearing cases need shimming. Doesn’t do it himself either on the customer’s car.
