How to Draw the Crown Chakra Using Geometry

Figuring out and drawing the crown chakra symbol using sacred geometry wasn't easy but I got there in the end. Here are step by step instructions so you can draw it yourself.

I have absolutely loved your chakra series and this last one has been the icing on the cake. I have done them all so far and will be doing this one later. With each one I’ve been mesmerised watching you draw them and think ‘I got it’!! Then I start to draw them and think ‘I don’t got it’!! But the one thing I’ve learned throughout the process is not to give up. Thank you so much for sharing these Zak and I hope you continue with sacred symbols as it is fascinating. Take care xx

@@user-nc7zw3lz2j Let me make the long story short: If you want to draw the CHAKRA, follow the video up to 2.30 minutes 1) Now you have a circle in the center of the sheet whose circumference is 43.96 cm 2) Set the compass open about 0.9 cm wide and with this measurement mark the circle 50 times. 3) You now have the 50 points (intersections) on the circumference that allow you to draw the 50 circles of the WHOLE Chakra. For this set the compass open to 8.2 cm. 4) With this measure, set the compass on each point marked on the unconference, and In less than 5 minutes you will draw the 50 circles and the CHAKRA. TAKE CARE

DUDE. Hell yes. I came on the tube looking for inspiration & totally found it on your page. I’ve began drawing/designing mandalas in 2011. I’m completely stuck on this one. I keep showing up & putting pencil/sharpie to paper, though. I look at flowers for inspiration sometimes. This lights me up…. So thank you.

Hi Zak, I tried it but the fifth circle in the first set never intersects correctly at the intersection of the first circle with our double size radius circle that we draw before starting the five circle set. Did you have the same? What mistake am I making? Can you help?

This is without a doubt, the best geometry channel on theTube. I’ve had something like five failed attempts because I keep losing track of the intersection to place the compass on when you get to about the 30 circle mark. I’ve also completely proven myself that I can’t make this fit in a 9“ x 12” sketchbook/journal. End of story. I may try it on a much larger sheet of Watercolor paper. I’d love to know the dimensions of the paper you’re working on so I can start with the same size as yours and then ruin five more sheets trying to execute it.🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, thank you for all you do! This is fascinating.❤

I'd love to know where you saw this symbol originally and where you learned about it. I googled crown chakra sacred geometry but didn't see anything close to this design. I would so enjoy learning more about this!

Wonderful series. Thank you very much. Did them all, except this one so far. I think bigger is better in this case. When I get this done I will explore some of the other designs you have demonstrated. I love using a compass. I have been doing neurographic lines over top of the Sacred Geometry. Feels like a magical combination. I had Spirograph when I was a kid and I did a lot of designs with that until the pieces got lost one by one. No said it all could be done with just a compass, ruler and pencil!

Awesome Zak, it took me days of trial and error to eventually figure out this one.... i had to stop drawing chakra's due to an overwhelming unstoppable surge of anger if just 1 line was off by half a millimetre ha ha ha ha, now i've watched this though, I'm gonna have to have a go. Great video's pal, best Geometry channel on the tube.

@@ZKorvin This very true, I learned if i stopped drawing complicated geometry the rage would cease as the cause was eliminated. It worked a treat, then i saw your video, but i didn't draw a mandala, I got my drafting gear out, and I'm currently drawing St. Pauls Cathedral, on A1 Paper, proportionately scaled down using every from some blueprints I found online. I forgot how much I enjoy it..... The most incredible aspect of geometry for me, which still continues to blow my mind, is that you don't even need to know anything about it, and even though it can get mind meltingly complex, by simply having a go and messing about with an edge and a compass, it teaches you about itself, it teaches proportion and math with actually doing any, and it forces you to solve problems as the solution is usually evident within the mistake. I rambling now, but it makes you comprehend Nature and appreciate the fundamental simplicity visually expressed with a twist of complexity. There's 1 thing I have never found a tutorial on, and I cannot work it out for the life of me, how to create a 3 dimension Torus seen them 2 dimensionally, i think you've done a couple, but I'd love to do a 3 dimensional version, and then maybe attempt to fuse 2 different coloured ones as a double Torus. Anyways cheers for the reply Zak.

@@deathstarHQ I 100% agree with that. That’s exactly how I learn. Someone else just asked for a torus in perspective as well so I guess it’s time to figure it out! I can’t imagine how complicated a double torus would be though. 🤯

@@ZKorvin Awesome, i'm sure you will succeed too, can't wait for that tutorial.... as for the double torus, if you can do 1, then im assuming it might just be a case of inverting the plane of projection and aligning the centripetal axix, the point where they overlap will form the plane of inertia, and will form a more perfect hyperboloid at the centre. Easier said than done ha ha, but would be amazing, it's the shape of natures fundamental principle of Magnetism, the field of super fluidity, made visible and therefore can be understood. Good luck figuring it out Zak, I have High Hopes ha ha.

@zak korvin - completely mesmerized by seeing your art in drawing crown chakra. I have tried a couple of times, but have not been able to figure out, why it is going wrong. but I am not going to give up. please share some tips. some intersections are not coming correctly. I am exactly doing the same way as you have shown in the drawing.
