Zalgiris Kaunas finally pulled out a close game on home floor and registered its first win of the season in the packed Zalgirio Arena, edging the visiting AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan 83-78 on Thursday night.

With all due respect, James lost the game for Armani. Yes, when he gets hot, he can singlehandedly win the game. But his selfishness and arrogancy is over the top. I mean, who screams at his own coach?? Pao made the right call to get rid of him. Congrats Zalgiris, finally you get one right!

Algirdas Grybauskas the euroleague shares attendances on their site, you rarely sell out (almost never), but you do have great attendances yes.

@@Xarriable I don't think it's totally accurate. I'm thousands of miles away from LTU, but I do remember at least two games were sold out before the match, for instance, it was a week before the Barcelona match that there were no tickets left (euroleague.net says 'tentative' performance for that match was 15,126). But then it also says matches against Real and Vitoria had 'tentative' attendance of 15,105 and 15,107. Which is only a teardrop shy of the same number for the Barcelona match. And I'm pretty sure in reality there were no tickets left. Other matches were very close too, around 14.7k.

zybergis no I clearly remember last season you sold out one game and all your fans spread it like news under the euroleague videos, as if it was something that happened for the first time in ages. I did eye your attendances you rarely sell out. Your best attendance was the season start versus Baskonia and officially it’s not registered as sold out. Tentative doesnt mean the factual number is more, can also be less. Against Fener you didn’t reach 15k, even though it’s like a revenge match for last season. But my point is you will not fill 40k not that your attendances are bad, because they are good I know. European basketball in general does not have consistent high attendances like NBA, not even clubs like Madrid. Only big games sell out.
