But do you really? Sure, he's an incredible shooter, there are videos of him hitting 30 threes in a row no problem in practice and so on right here on youtube. But he has significant defensive issues. He's not fast enough to guard small athletic players and not strong enough if he ends up against a big in a switch-all situation. Teams tend to attack him a lot in the euroleague. If he gets open looks to shoot - there's a psychological calmness I get, since I've seen him for years and I know how trustworthy he is at making such a shot. He's had that talent ever since he was a kid. But that's all he has. Amazing shooting, a great fake shot to juke out players jumping to try and guard him in time and maybe a sneaky drive or inbounds shot under the basket against players that are slower than him. But his dribbling is weak. If a defender is right on him, he doesn't have the footwork to create space for a good shot for himself 1 on 1. Defensively - he has much more lowlights than highlights(picks up bad fouls, 2+1's and such). Which is why no top level euroleague team ever bought him out from us. And by now he is also past his prime.
