It's hard to beat Crete in the Summertime. I went to Hersonissos and Malia several times, not sure which I liked better.

The worst place in Crete. Avoid at all costs Malia and Hersonissos. There are so many nice and beautiful places in Crete. Chania area alone has it everything!
