Chania Crete, unusual start of my walk! in 4k, Kreta Griechenland
Chania is a city on the northwest coast of the Greek island of Crete. It’s known for its 14th-century Venetian harbor, narrow streets and waterfront restaurants. At the harbor entrance is a 16th-century lighthouse with Venetian, Egyptian and Ottoman influences. Opposite, the Nautical Museum has model ships, naval objects and photographs. The former monastery of St. Francis houses the Archaeological Museum of Chania.

Kalispera Zameer, what a beautiful walk to Chania. It brings back beautiful memories but also the loss of friends. We are already slowly looking at plane tickets to our second home country. Keep doing this so that the people who care about Crete can continue to enjoy it.

Great video zameer, marathon walk 2hrs, 21 mins👍. We're staying near koum Kapil when we go back to Crete in April next year ( our 5th time to crete❤). The old buildings at the the start of your walk are the old tannery buildings, taking the animal skins and turning them into leather goods. Keep up the great work, nice to see blue skys and sun, while we're being battered by storms in the UK.

Thank you for your great videos. We have already been on holiday in Crete 16 times, usually in the south of Crete, usually in May and September. Through your videos we see villages, towns and sights that we would normally drive past because you have to get off the main road and you are not really informed from the main road what kind of villages you can expect. Your videos give you all the more reason to leave the main road more often and visit the villages. Have a good winter and happy holidays. Denny and Jolanda

Excellent video. We even saw the hotel I booked and your video confirms my choice. I didn’t realize there are so many restaurants to choose from. That will be a big dilemma. . Thank you for taking the time to do this.
