Finally the ZAN slugs landed in South Africa. Thank you to SAairrifles.co.za for sending me two packets. Today I will be doing the initial speed and accuracy testing at 30m. If the slugs are promising I will take them out further...

I'm also using ZAN's, now ONLY ZAN's. Super accurate, great gouping and a great expansion. Nice video, keep it coming :))))

Awesome I really like the zan slugs in 22 cal fxm3 And 25 cal fxmk2 I'm shooting the 33 gr zan in 22 cal at around 995 and 37 gr zan in 25 cal at 1004fps talk about some power I'm going on a hog hunt soon so I wanted to use a accurate slug for good shot placement these are perfect I found in testing different slug at 50 and 75 yards thanks for sharing bsafe my friend

Very good shooting and they are my favorite Slugs with awesome terminal performance and bit cheaper them javelin 26gr... I use 25.5gr218@990fps shooting with Avenger.22 and 33gr 217@1000FPS with Fx impact mkll 700 superior heavy liner.22

Fantastic slugs Gert, and of course, nice shooting. On a side point what do you think of the Element scopes. I am in the market for new glass and have been looking at the Falcon ENDURA 3.5-25×56 FFP Riflescope MOA/MRAD (still not decided which) It is amazing value at £325 MRAD £379 MOA The Element Helix are around £429 here in the UK so not much in it.

Use them a lot as in my country we are only allowed 0.177 airguns. The best slugs overall, with the 16grain the ideal hunting slug. 9 hits from 10 shots at 150 metres on a 8cm x 8cm plate is the norm !

I won some off of Airgun Nation forum. My Umarex Origin didn't like them. It just doesn't have enough power to push them. They are extremely clean and good looking slugs though. I'll try them in my next PCP.

I use the Zan slugs in my Impact M3 I run them at 991 fps delivering sub MOA at 50 yards

I shoot 10 grain zan slugs from a 26 Joule sidelever ( diana 48) very accurate up to 70 meters. The expansion of the slugs is amazing.

Awesome video, ek weet jy sugar coat niks en waardeer dit. My impact mk2 is baie soos jou een opgestel behalwe vir die 72cc plenum ( het gewone power plenum) en gaan verseker die Zan slugs n go gee. Sukkel baie om ander maak slugs te maak werk in die geweer.

Hello..your videos are very good...a question: you have an fx 1, the original regulator that that rifle comes with is not very good, I changed the complete regulator on your rifle or just changed the piston for a metal one.

Why must I pay soo much for a gun and then have to fit after market parts, lose my warranty etc. just to have it shoot like the KZfaqrs shoot them "straight out the box". This is one of the reasons I am rebelling against sponsored individuals not telling the whole truth when they shoot wih their guns. I upgraded everything on that MK 1, it now has a 72cc plenum, heavier hammer, spring, pistons, you name it. All the extras cost me more than the gun. If I pay that amout for a gun that is supposed to shoot 100% out the box... I will not. My channel will tell the truth, if the regulator is nonsense I will name it. I haven't had any issues with my regulator yet, yes I know there are better ones, but why must I pay extra for it?

ive tried the 40g .22 zan in 800mm with tungsten hammer in m3 and got 990FPS on 160 bar

@@AimSmall yes 1.5" at 100y and according to strelok they still have 66fpe at 100y and 2.4Mrad from a 50Y zero

One day we'll be launching slugs with air implements at 2,000 fps. Unlike pellets, slugs don't mind and aren't as sensitive to the velocity.

Slugs are far more velocity dependant than drag stabilized projectiles.

How are you pushing 25gr slugs at 1050 with 135bar reg? Makes no sense.

Easy. Power kit installed, 720plenum and 700mm barrel.

I have a dreamline with the huma dual transfer port and pin probe also power plenum and the huma high power reg, it's .25 cal, I tried everything up to 200 bar, tungsten hammer... no matter what I do I top out at 1050fps with the h&n 28gr slugs. At 135 bar I am down at around 850fps

@@doomfathertm8771 Unfortunately the dreamline can't produce the same power as the Impact. I had a crown I tried to set up for slugs with no success.
