east is arguably the coldest ability i've EVER seen in a shounen anime, the flames all disappearing into a single blade made it so subtle and calm yet so threatening, east is the coldest ability out of the four directions IMO

Excellent work. He has crushed trillions of souls but Kubo never gave him chance to go all out against either main villain. He holds Genryusai’s power with so much regard that he can’t let him actually be outmatched legitimately.

The fact is that this theme is also playing in Komamura vs Bambietta, when he gave everything for revenge for Yamamoto.

Zanka no Tachi East is absolutely amazing I love both it and West the most. The contrast between those 2 forms is insane, it's also insane that Yamamoto gave a zampakto roughly 5 capabilities. My man had the illest Shikai in the entire series from what I know as an anime only, and his Bankai only made it cooler/even more impressive.

When all flames, smoke, and water evaporated into nothing at just release of his bankai and camera zoomed in on his charred sword and this track plays....even if you read manga...you couldnt help but whisper, "fuck"
