I love feeling the wind on my skin. I felt so happy to imagine taking a sunlit bath with the wind blowing all through the bathroom. My idea of heaven.

Absolutely unreal... I had no idea! I'm an ex South African living in Greece (another paradise 😊) but this makes me want to crawl, run, fly back south... So so much respect for your videos…you have respect for the employee’s and you still find the way to film everything every detail… I have worked 20 years in 5 star hotel& resorts but you are very different! Wonderful way to spend a early Saturday morning sipping a percolated coffee, your snoozing favorite four legged buddy at the side and imagine being there. Nice touch with Ingred Bergman and Humphrey Bogart at pool side as time goes by.

This is absolutely stunning! out of this world. Brings up so many memories of me working as an Engineer for an international oil company in the sahara desert. We lived in camps and the contrast between our camp's setting and the rough nature stayed engraved in me forever. Thank you for this breathtaking tour.

The hotel's construction on these large stones and the hotel's English colonial -ish style, are complete and stylish. The interior has a beautiful color choice. And with spectacular scenery and views is a guarantee in itself for a relaxing stay. I would have felt at home here. And you can really feel like a real adventurer. With wilderness life so close. If nothing else, you will become an adventurer after this. The food was beautifully represented. Of course this was a wonderful experience, which you will surely return to. Great video.

The landscape looks like a different planet, kind of like Mars, absolutely fantastic and I bet the desert changes minute by minute as the sun moves. As far as the tents, to me they look rather cluttered. I think I would stay mostly outside (pool area because of the heat) and only sleep in the tent.

This will be the ideal place to escape the "world" and its diseases and war talk. The flow of the camera is so flawless adding serenity to the silent beauty and divinity around the place. I definitely will add this to my to-do list

I kept thinking of Matt Damon in the movie "The Martian" when he lived alone on Mars for over a year. I think he would have enjoyed these accommodations a lot more! He didn't have nice furniture, a claw-foot tub, an infinity pool or a chef! Not to mention a more oxygenated atmosphere :) The Sonop would be difficult to manage if, like me, one is as old as the desert itself. Perhaps a tent close to the dining room would work, though! So glad to have an expert traveling friend like you, Dr. LTE, who shares such marvelous experiences with us!This one was defintely "out of this world"!

“The silence of the dessert is powerful” I love this quote because I lived around deserts at some point and the peace you get from it is unmatched. The saying is leave a man in the desert for a month and he’ll become a prophet. Perfect ambience for mindfulness and a healthy, superior intellect!

A fantastic video as always. I never knew how such a harsh, extreme environment could bare such a beautiful place like this... amazing. BTW, I think you should try out Gili Lankanfushi. It used to be owned by Soneva, and seems like it still has that great soneva luxury feel. I think it would be up there with Jani if you gave it a shot.

Excellent videography. Totally mesmerised by the stunning scenery and the location itself which is a very harmonious Feng Shui blending of nature and craftsmen from the hotelier's vision to the construction team. Thank goodness there is still some beauty in this world to forget about the shenanigans of Beijing awful winter games.
