We are the same with the wine. We have learnt over the past few years that the house red wine can vary so much from one restaurant to another. We now ask to sample it and make our decision from there. We love Kalamaki and now back home from being out there 11 nights early June. We are booked again for next years. Our 11th year. Awesome reviews especially on D&Bs BBQ restaurant! It’s our favorite place in zakynthos! Babis makes his own, BBQ sauce, coleslaw and tzatziki sauce.

My hubby would have that mushroom starter sauce over a steak at Dafnis.

Eaten at Dias many times. Had my best fillet steak there. But our go to place is Daphne’s or Ellie’s which I know you both like. Never had a bad meal in kalamaki.

if your still there, can you get the menu from the kalamaki beach bar please, as i cannot find it on pc. TIA

Re:- Dafni's .. I dislike awaiting for the Bill when you wanna move on ! ..puts ne off..some Restaurants want to keep you there to make the place look full.. when that happens I never go back 😢

Thanks for this review. Have been to Kalamaki seven times, got back two days ago and had never visited Dias. We tried it early on in the trip after watching this video and ended up returning a few times more (I had the stifado too).
