What I love are the boards attached to the doorframe to close the gap between the door and ceiling, and the brick put on top of the roof as weight. This clearly wasn't the first time.

There's no humor in a poor abused dog trying to escape captivity. Beagles are one of the most docile, loving breeds yet 90% of them are abused like the ones locked up in this cage.

Brilliant dog! There was a case of a dog at the famous Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in London who knew how to open the kennels and would do so during the night to allow him and his mates to raid the food room. Said dog was rehomed and the owner reported that he learnt to open the front door so they had to have a bolt fitted. LOL! Smart doggies.

My Anatolian Shepherd puppy did this at 7mo old. I had her in the giant chicken coop to socialize and stay away from her unaltered brother. This girl.... after we fixed the top area that she was pushing thru, she dug a 1 ft deep tunnel (to go under the predator barrier) so she could get to her brother! Of course we ended up having to change plans with having these 2 pups and he ended up fixed sooner than I intended since she was relentless. Afterward he was fixed then they both stayed in there no problem. She just really wanted her brother 💛

The fact that he figured out how to leverage himself between the 2 sides of the fencing and then to "know" to push the roof open, and then stood there while "thinking" of how to get down. Some dogs dig their way out of the yard or backyard if they you leave them for to long without company . They need company and people for attention and emotions . I know of a person who left his dogs for weeks when he went out of town and the dog broke the fence plus it easy hit and the dog hit heat exhaustion and died of heat stroke . Luckily the female dog survived as the male was dominant . Don’t let this happen to you ,. Keep that in mind.
