I’ve always felt like when someone doesn’t get excited to talk about marriage and kids, it’s not coz they don’t want those things it’s because they don’t want them WITH YOU. And it’s a clear sign that they don’t want a future with you. HOWEVER, I watched the full episode and it seems that Sam isn’t sure about Zara because she practically dropped him when she thought she was on the cusp of fame. She thought her singing career was taking off and suddenly there was problems between her and Sam. So it seems his indecisiveness comes from that.

I get bad vibes from her. I don't think Sam handled things in the best way discussing things the way he did with "the boys". But Zara comes across to me as immature, thoughtless, controlling, and just not very nice. She's just set on meeting certain milestones on a particular timescale without thinking it through properly.
