I heard they no longer have the machinery to make new production M76's. Too bad-- I bet Zastava would sell a ton of those.

Most of that tooling was modified to make the M-91. From someone who has a M-76. They wouldn't sell as many as folks think. Everyone wants one until it comes to the price of the rifle and the cost of feeding it. My M-76 is my most expensive and finickity rifle to feed. Most 8mm out there will not feed properly in mine. It has to be brass cased and it has to be FMJ. Right now that M-77 DMR package is better for what what folks want.

Cant wait for that new scope mount for the new underfolder. Midwest was almost low enough, but this is a cheek/chin weld stocked weapon anyways.

Ill never buy an AK type rifle from anyone but zastava. Nearly two centuries of quality behind them and when you use their shit you know. Truly the best.

Can't help but notice you didn't have him show the actual Tabuk AK clone they had at their booth. The one I saw there had a black grip with horizontal stripes, the cutout stock, no adjustable gas, the long barrel with flash hider, and chambered in 7.62x39

What they need to do is fix their undergassed issue on these. They have known for years that their AK platforms are completely undergassed. Which causes extraction problems. They spray them with some type of rest preventative before they ship them to the United states. I just bought one with low serial numbers on it took it to the range and when it heated up rust poured from every crack on the firearm. And I'm talking about a lot of rust

The only thing that gets me excited other than a beautiful woman, is a beautiful AK-47. I really like this new M77 in 308. A.K.O.U. (Rob) did a semi-review with this rifle, and it performed well at the range. I believe that he took it out a bit past 600yds accurately. ---- So far the 2 firearms that were featured by Burst Review at Shot Show 2024 that I am very interested in are the Zastava M77 and the PTR “Jack” shorty 12 gauge. - Jason/Freedom Fighter Until Death/Vermont, FRA (‘FRA’, meaning “The Failed Republic Of America”)

Not an RPK, but you can check out the new m19 modular rifle from zastava. Unfortunately I think they are at the moment exclusively producing it for our army
