Zatoichi !! I Really doubt if Hollywood, or any other Movie Production Company; could ever capture the Essence of this Superb Character! Nowadays, as always Money Talks, but the Quality is wasted! I know my opinion does not count, however this is One of the Greatest Series to come out anywhere! The Drama with the Dog was overdrawn, unless you capture what was really meant! Ichi puts any Hero to Shame, and We have Shintaro Katsu to Thank for giving to us, these Great Preformances!

Love the scene where Itchi shares his food with Jin and they alternate eating out of the bowl. Itchi's character, being blind, has terrible table manners because he has never seen others eat.

Zatoichi doesn't eat like that when he's eating at an inn or noodle shops. He's only eating like that because he's hand feeding the injured dog. Don't judge him because he's blind.
