Sad to have lost such talent. I had the honour of meeting his son Danyahl and invited him to sing at my New Years Eve Bash 2018. He sang the same song Impossible Dream

Words fail me when I watch the Meastro perform. Totally WORLD class. One can only imagine how he would have rendered the song he recorded for me in 1991. IN A DREAM. What a treasure we can listen now to this remastered track. The last time I saw Zayn he told me how he wanted to include it in his shows. We are very proud of you Zayn. Peter Richardson

What a peformance. Quando, I only have eyes, my favourites, and what can I say about Give a little love - it just sends shivers down my spine what I hear Zayn singing it. He was one of my favourite vocalists. I had the privilege of seeing him performing live a few times. What a performer. He had this charisma & stage presence that cannot be described, and such humility. His singing - again, I cannot describe - all I can say - amongst the best in the world. I travelled all the way from Durban to Cape Town just to see him perform live with a band at the Grand West casino hall. He played guitar as well as sang - one of the best performances of any artists that I have seen - just superlative. I actually saw the show twice. It was videod, but alas I don't know by whom, and how to get a copy. If anyone knows, please let me know. I would pay just about anything to get a copy. I was so looking forward to see him perform with Pacific Express at the Jazz Fest, but he passed away before that. Again Pacific Express, what a group - world class performers, and way ahead of their time. Alas, even Zayn did not get the recognition & accolades that he deserved, both in SA & overseas. RIP Zayn, the local legend - we sorely miss you, called away much too prematurely!

@@joeswartz1843 Respect for my Elders, and an appreciation for those Artist who regardless of their circumstances brought a little sunshine to our lives. I am glad you made it in life, just sad that you felt the need to degrade another fellow human being without walking a day in his shoes. I say again money is nothing, it clearly cannot buy respect, dignity or empathy. And fyi I am still living and working in Elsies. I try to remain humble because I know that my achievements was only through the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ.
