LOL. The main cause of the unnecessary anxieties in his life is his lifestyle. He cannot tackle this with such shallow techniques. It's like trying to close the leaks in a tank with a tape. You leave a Islamic lifestyle (or at least a conservative lifestyle in any other society/religion), you have to face such issues.

He has matured, he can express himself and seems comfortable doing it. Unlike during the 1D days. My father always said halfway to resolving an issue is ACKNOWLEDGING it. He has acknowledged his anxiety and is obvioulsy working on it. Good for him.

So many were upset when he left the band. Majority of those didn't realize how much his anxiety was weighing on him. As hard as it was for him, it was the best thing he did. He needed to do it for his mental health! That's what should be priority to most!!

I’m so proud of Zayn for being able to acknowledge he has anxiety as well as taking steps in his life that will not trigger it which is a huge milestone for people who have anxiety cause sometimes it hard to knowledge that you have something going on as well as well as making a goal of putting yourself in situations that will not trigger the anxiety. Met Zayn in 2013. I have goosebumps hearing him speak again in a interview. When I met him, I immediately knew he has a such pure good heart. He had an ED at that time, wasn’t lookin good but he still gave me a whole smile & talked with me even tho he was going through a lot of stuff. I always will admire Zayn and always had big love for him even in the 1D days but now even more, since we didn’t heard from him in years. I really hope he will go on tour, so I can met him again.

This interview was so important and much much needed for Zayn. This shows what kind of a person Z really is. Only two years ago, the media and a certain family tried to portray him as an abusive, toxic and aggressive human being which he absolutely was NOT. Hope that this podcast will open some blind eyes😊

Just watched the whole interview and I’m so so happy this happened. Zayn we love you and we’re so happy to hear from you and like u said we’re ready when you are. The way you handle everything, it’s so you, respectful king. Your such a great example of what it is to be a good dad, brother, man and human being. Seeing you in this light where you talk about your daughter, it’s a special and beautiful moment. I love seeing this side of you and hearing u talk about your anxiety was so eye opening as someone that was there during X factor days. I can’t describe how proud I am of him. He looks so healthy and happy and relaxed. Sure, it was sad to see he left the band, but it was for his own mental health, and all the boys were stuck in such a toxic environment with their management and modest. But I’m so proud of him for getting through all of it and so so happy that he’s so comfortable with expressing himself. As someone with anxiety, hearing Zayn talk about how he’s overcoming it is really assuring and I look up to him for that.

Omg loved the interview. Zayn definitely opened up a lot more and who knew he had so many pets! And he harmonizes with Khai. That was so wholesome and so adorable. He seems so much more like himself and I’m excited he has energy to perform again too!
