Bought a bundle of four Flourean 2s Lipo packs about 18 months ago and three of them have died already. Bought them to double up in my 1/8 truggy project but they failed before it's second run. Bought two Turnigy Graphene 2s packs and truggy seems as quick on 2s with the Graphene as it did on 4s with the floreans. Good review good enough to steer me away I'm afraid not sure that's what BangGood wanted 😉👍

I have some Floureans, had no issues so far...but a good Lipo can make a big difference to an RC. I should invest in some better ones really. As for the Truck, I prefer to not hide all the bad bits, so it gives people a chance to make their own mind up. It's not a bad RC, but if you are going to drop a bit wedge of cash on one, it may be worth looking around for the best deal or best truck for your money. I'd have my Senton 3s over this.....but would rather spend the money on this one than drop double on a Traxxas slash!

Nice review fella look forward to the bash video hopefully it holds up and your bang on the money with checking any rigs over before blasting them, it's pretty much mandatory to pull the arrma center diff apart as most are completely dry from leaking gasket's so a few dozen loose screw's for that price ain't bad plus high quality alloy should pay dividends in the end......... most brand names even miss that trick 😂👌✌💪👊👍

Cheers dude. Had it out earlier and it goes pretty well. Tyres are to hard really, and it could be a bit faster, considering it's 4s! But still it's a pretty decent truck. 😜👍

I rebuilt center diff with metal gear put 6 s 120 amp water cooled esc taller tires 21 tooth pinion I use 2 3 s 80 c 6000 mah in series n I power the dumbo rc 6 channel receiver with 2 s li ion at 8.4 volts servo is just to slow at lower voltage now it's fast enough to race any cars n trucks in it's class n win motor is very powerful n gets bad gas mileage

Wow, those springs are far too weak. When you need to adjust them that much you also lose that much shock travel. I'd replace the springs right away. Phil, have you ever done a review of the Tamiya Toyota Hilux (kit)?

I don't think you loose any shock travel when you adjust the springs. But still...it should be better out the box! I've had one of the Hi-lift's, but never reviewed them.

@@TomleyRC The way I see it, if you preload the springs by (for instance) a 1/2 inch, then whenever the springs are fully compressed, the shocks would still be able to compress a further 1/2" if it weren't for the preload. That's why I always prefer to find stiffer springs if preloading is in order.

Interesting but bit pricey especially since there will be 20% VAT and VAT processing fee on top of it, I am thinking maybe better for same money to get a brand like a brushless HPI Maverick Strada SC and 2 extra batteries or an Arrma Senton Mega and 1 extra bettery, or just an Arrma Senton 3s BLX for same money.

I've never paid VAT or Customs. I'm sure these come via Italy or somewhere else in the EU. Anyway...I'd have the Senton 3S BLX over this as well :)

That rear bumper looks very vulnerable to snagging ! And not exactly RTR Not my sort of thing fortunately

It's not bad for a Short Course Truck, but not going to be to everyones taste. It was good fun to run it....although some better Batteries will help! 👍

This is getting some Sand paddle and a better ESC...batteries, and then off to the beach! I'll probably trim the body, to make it a little nicer looking.

@@philthyco1 ESC seems to have a sensitive overload cut off...and the batteries just seem a bit cheap. They say 4000mah 25c, but I'm not convinced! It's 4s and has a 2200kv motor, and only managed 49km/h on wet grass, my Senton on 3s would probably do around 70.
