Zdenka, ANOTHER VIDEO SUPER WELL DONE!! When watching an in-depth tutorial, I usually pause the video after each important item and type up some notes. The more informative the tutorial, the more notes that are taken. Most of my tutorials take about 3-4 pages; I'm happy to say this one took up 7 pages.. Now i will take the gimbal and my notes outside to read the notes, and experiment, then update the notes as my own real-world experience dictates. You're speaking style, level of DEMONSTRATED detail is a god send. I've seen so many of your videos, I feel like your an old friend. THANK YOU.

Great video!! I’ve owned this gimbal since shortly after it was introduced (which I found out about from this channel) and watched tons of videos about it. I still learned some new features in this video! This is the first time I’ve heard about pressing the mode button 3 times for inception mode. Everyone said it had that mode, but always referenced the Joy app Moments section to use that one. There were a few Joy app settings that you clarified for me too! Thanks so much for this video!!

Zdenk - your presentation are always spot on - well scripted, great pace (not so fast as many others are), excellent filming and terrific editing. Just the best - Just ordered the Hohem M6and thanks for giving me a head start on understanding it full capabilities. Hi Z. This is by far the most intelligent gimbal I've ever owned thanks to the hardware AI Module. Together with its 400g payload, makes it one of the most capable small gimbals around. What I want Hohem to do next, is make a hardware AI Smart Gimbal for DSLR's like the Sony A7 iv.

very comprehensive gimbal tutorial, probably the first video to watch before operating this device. i do hope they will have more video resolution for the new s23 ultra. i have the x2 and i can tell the so many limitations unlock by this gimbal. if hohem do update the firmware, would be great to have the zoom or focus independent of the app.

But with this gimbal you can use your native camera app with all its functions which is always better than the gimbal app and you still have AI tracking available. That's its biggest selling point by far.

Hello, for the motor response setting. What do you recommend for an iPhone 13 Pro Max with an ND filter attached? I see high is more stable but not sure which one to use. I feel like when I record in portrait with an nd filter, it is not as smooth and I notice the walking bounce but in horizontal or even the quick portrait when in horizontal, there is no bounce

It is hard to say… do test footage and compare on the computer screen… use what looks better to you…. If you are talking about bounce… up and down as you walk you have to physically go low into your knees to walk smoothly… gimbals cannot even out our up and down movements

Just got mine and I absolutely love it. Question, is there an extension phone clamp for larger phones? My s23 ultra with case fits very tight. Also can you manually start tracking without the gestures?

Unfortunately I don’t think there is extension clamp. You can track in Hohem app by sliding with fingers across the screen selecting the subject you want to track

Fantastic video thanks you. I have this gimbal and the app, the only issue I have with using the app is that it does not give the same wide angle as the phone app does and so for my RE videos this is a problem, otherwise it seems very comprehensive.

Love the video. i have both M6 and MT2 and i found mine has the ICP speed setting under the A-B motion duration. is there a diffrent version in the market.

Yes, they recently added this feature in the app. There is no other gimbal at the moment.

I ordered the Hohem M6. resold dji osmo6, before zhiyun smooth 5. kept the Powervision s1. if newer better come in the market replace the old one.

Hi, is the PTF mode equivalent to the Follow mode in OM6? Or is it PF? I am interested in making hyperlapses starting low angles and going to high. Thanks.

PTF stands for pan tilt follow… PF is only pan follow.. I hope this helps

Hi, great video. I have a question though. I am interested in creating hyperlapse using this gimbal. The way OM6 handles this is that you select an object to track and start the hyperlapse. Do we also have the same functionality available in hohem joy app as well? Thanks in advance

Great video dji osmo 6 for their dynamite zoom feature which is the dolly zoom feature on this gimbal which can you continuously film in that setting? or do you have certain time diameters to work between that you have to set up beforehand

Great and detailed video! Thank you! May I have a little info ? I need to film handwriting sessions over my desk, so basically I need having the gimbal set on its tripod, filming almost vertically (up to down). In order to increase its tilt angle to that point, I assume I'll have to put it in "ultra wide mode" in order to not have the motor in the way. In this shooting mode is it still possible to shoot standard video (e.g. 4k video) or it's forced to have only ultra wide video ? Thanks a lot for your time and help!

For that type of filming don’t use gimbal but tripod with overhead arm. Gimbal is for movement shots ….. for static filming, always a tripod

What I need to know is if that gimbal allows you to perform normal videos even if set in that "wide mode" or, once you set it up in this way, it forces you to only shoot wide videos. Could you clarify it to me please ? Much appreciated :)

Another question…. Can you use anamorphic lens w hohem joy? If it won’t desqueze like filmic how do u handle that? I have the zhyun and filmic but just preordered the shiftcam anamorphic as well as the HEAVY wide angle (100 grams) with a pro max 240 g phone. The smooth arm doesn’t like to move far enough for that large phone w lens. Will the hohem? (I know… should have bought the pro and not the huge pro max…). TIA!!!

To answer your questions.. no you cannot use anamorphic lens with Hohem Joy app. You need to use Filmic pro instead. I unfortunately am not familiar with pro max phone. I got pro for the very same reason the weight

You cannot paid it. The gimbal is just there to stabilize your footage if that makes sense

hey zdenka, love the video and was super helpful in getting used to the gimbal rather than going back to the instruction manual book every time! just had a question, every time i try to pair the gimbal with the wireless remote it says pair failure. the remote is turned on and im doing the 7 mode button presses, why is it not connecting? any ideas? thanks!

Hm.. I will make a real on that one and post it on Instagram. I remember that you have to also press something on the remote to pair. Let me find the manual for both and work on this one. I have three remotes and work well but I just can’t remember right now out of the head how it was done.

After watching both of your reviews I bought the Zhynan 5S and Hohem m6. I am disappointed that Hohem does not work w Filmic pro. But I think it is much better, than the Z. It’s more robust the viewer and counter weight option. The Hohem seems to have much more control. Can I ask which one you think is best
