WARNING, A very bad decaying winter player detected.
This video is not purposely made or guarantee to learn how to be good or play the perk in the game. Rather an introduction to the perk in the game. It is only made for fun. remember the grabable player glitch? you glitch a weapon by throwing a throwing axe with your melee somehow i forgot just use that glitch and be the zealot or have someone else do the glitch as them being zealot

Fun fact, your defense can get upwards of 198% (assuming its additive) or 544% (assuming its multiplicative). (50(I4S)+50(Tac-Armor)+25(adrenaline/homeostatic)+33(Base Perk)+10(Equipment)+15 (Trait)+15 (rations)) If you're being shot at, that's an increase 25 defense, so either 223% or 680% at max. This brings the zealots maximum effective health (How much damage would have to be dealt. Bringing his maximum health up to (273/794) without tormented to (306/833) with, and against guns, from (314/918) without tormented to (345/1054) with. I know its a pretty big block of text but TL;DR Zealot w/ all buffs working in his favor has either 345 or 1054 effective health, which can overreach goddamn YOSEF . That's a lot, plus 100 if you add in the shield. Even at the worst of his best, he's still got 306 effective health. either way zealot solos.

The most jacked you can get is Painkiller buff (20%), fearless and dependable (25 and 15%), koldera (10%), rations (15%), i4s (50%) and Armored (not sure), + zealot resistance is 25% not 33%. Not counting the armored debuff, damage you take is multiplied by 0.17 (divided by almost 6), so at 135hp you get 794 effective hp. Still, dont count only on it. Debuffs still exist, and Death Prevention is a MUST for you.

One build like a lot with zealot is the trait that gives some health, defense over anything and faster m1 . Plus the m1 stunning weapon . Artisan hook . I dont really remember name . U can sit behind the turret and spam m1 while they dont pass the turrete pov so they can still get shot . For equipment id say either the drink one or cigarettes. For me its cigarette tho

Contrary to popular belief, Sledge can't instantly destroy the shield with her melee attack, her melee works exactly the same as any other ncps melee, however long shot DOES ignore the shield and will outright dmg you no matter what it's important to shove her if she's doing the longshot animation

Max resistance (only zealot) is 88% for bullets and explosives. 63% for all melee damage.

Me when im in an overrated Decaying Winter trait builds competition and my opponent is Zealot + Dependable + Fearless + Tormented (ffs you only need i4s or a laz buff to be "fucking invincible")

Its really funny because my first win was a zealot run where my team was like "we aint gonna beat the boss like this" and i was "dw give em armor and stims imma tank" ... Not to say but you do zealot and you get a lil bug lag when the wave is over and new wave starts you ARE HALF INVINCIBLE you can defend against inf amount of melee attacks but downside you basically cant do anything except shove but gun and explosions bombard you
