Zealot S32 Speaker Teardown (English)

This video is just a demonstration of the teardown of the Zealot S32 Bluetooth Speaker, it was my first attempt at taking it apart and I did a terrible mistake towards the end which I regret doing. Also take a look at how the passive radiator looks like and how many watts the speaker drive is rated at.

Dang, I wish I watch your video before I bought zealot speaker, now I regret bought it.. I bought this speaker to upgrade the battery.. I want to change it to 21700, but now it seems impossible. (mine is S46, not S32)

Shame..... Sorry you lost passive radiator the price you pay for "teardowns" i shudder when start prizing but Taylor i love your breakdowns of all the bluetooth speakers " real and fake" you do it my favourite site for your that i thank you and always" like" ... and if 3 watt or 5 watt the S32 its a good speaker for the price !!

dude whata the effect of having a big magnet beneath the cone? btw this speaker rocks with the bass when placed in a open room i went down stair beneath my room is the kitchen and on the kitchen u can only hear its bass idk maybe its the passive radiator rocking because the bass is so good with this speaker compared to others

Great review! I have the Zealot s32 too and I was convinced that It was 5 watts, because Zealot states so. But It is a hoax, very disappointing.

Welp the more thicker the passive radiator the deeper the bass if passive radiator is not thick enough it will move but the bass and treble is terrible

T&G Speakers have some thick passive radiators though but I don't hear any bass. The speaker drivers also have to be good or the passive radiators will just be for show. That's what I think, but I will be using a thick passive radiator to replace the original and put it to the test.

Also uhm dont put too much passive thickness or the hertz will get lower mine well My TG118 have some single layer of metal in passive radiator and i add 1 more single layer of metal in passive radiator now at betweem 40hz-60hz the passive radiator wont move anymore but if u play a music at 30hz-20hz it will move like a beast like JBL does!

This (zealot s32) speaker, when connected via bluetooth on my android phone, and watching on zoom, it either disconnects and connect again after a few seconds, by the time it connects, the screen freezes or the voices goes robotics. Its frustrating especially when you are on a meeting via zoom and needs the speaker for projection. Have you experienced this? What remedy can be done to stabilize the connectivity?

I never tried using it in a online meeting, maybe try and use the aux port instead of bluetooth. Sometimes wired connections are better.

You don't really have to double tap it if you turn it on first then plug in the USB. It should change it automatically without pressing the button.

Just connect them in parallel, positive to positive, negative to negative. Voltage stays the same but the capacity increases, just not sure if it's going to fit though.

Sounds to me you connected them in series not in parallel, that's how you got 7.4V

Yes, it should fit another 18650 battery, just make sure you have 2 x 18650 batteries that has the same capacity (mAh).

It might just be a dead battery, but there's always the possibility of it being something different.

Water resistant maybe yes but waterproof? No.

Didn't realize it was 3 watts. This just says that the item description that they are advertising is a hoax. But 3 watts for that amount of bass for a speaker is amazing but the lifespan of the speaker driver will be short. Disappointing.

I think they might have gotten the wording wrong, maybe it was supposed to be "output power is 5 watts"
