The app is needed to connect to the phone. The Vibe 7 PRO in 6/23 is rated as IP69K. It's very slightly thinner than the Vibe 7, and most of the other specs are the same or better. The Ares 3 is similar but has IPS display, is lighter by 16 grams, and has a blood pressure function (that might be a software update feature)

Hi! I've just got one. I can't figure out how to play music on it. Can't upload any music from smartphone. When it's paired, it only works as buttons to control smartphone player.

I've paid $25 for it. I'm still not believing in it. The AMOLED screen is good as any other $100+ smartwatches, battery life is absolutely absurd and it has really good features. Great deal! I'm amazed with the build quality too. Everything is absolutely amazing on this smartwatch.

I paid £25 and I'm pleasantly surprised, alloy build, oled screen, all I needed from a smart watch was to make and receive calls and get messages, and this does it perfectly, I honestly don't know how they are selling for this price, I'm going to order a silver one soon as well lol.

Haha, it's a low-budget phone with good audio recording in video mode. It's the phone app that makes the difference. It's called "Free Camera" (yea, it's free), and it works wonders for this specific setup of a smartwatch filming studio. I stick with HD resolution rather than FHD as it's way easier to edit and smaller files, and works fine for viewing on phones or tablets, or even computers (but not 4K 85 inch TVs - a bit blurry there).

No, it doens't have memory for music or any other thing. It's a very simple smartwatch with an excellent AMOLED screen and basic features, but solid build quality. For more features, unfortunately you will have to pay a lot more for other models.

This Watch is essentially a DM50 with a different casing. Same OS, fit cloud Pro, same sized screen, same AOD display. One big problem is when changing watch faces the APP occasionally crashes and cannot sync the watch face to the watch.

That's the low power ambient "always-on" digital display, so it has been designed to minimize brightness for conserving battery. The idea for AMOLED screens is to have mostly completely black and the segments that are illuminated are done so at low brightness. Makes it real hard to read in bright ambient light, but it does guarantee a time display always on. The smaller info is considered ancillary information, I guess, si it hasn't been highlighted.

Come to think of it, I don't recall ever evaluating the vibration motor on these watches. Sometimes there's a setting for low-med-hi, but other than that they are pretty standard.
