It's possible to see this video many ways. In the video Zedd and Alessia wake up and both went to the elevator but Zedd fairly makes it, causing them both to be sad but able to live. Then the video shows what would've happen if he was able to make it to the elevator and have a date with Alessia. They both have a fun time but Zedd ends up dying in the end. The video finishes with a glimpse of him being able to wake up the next day, after he missed the elevator but staying alive, instead of dying but being with Alessia the day before.

The sound of the humming at the starts makes me nostalgic. 2014-2017 were the best years of my childhood. I just remember when my cousin would come all the way from Chicago to see me. We would put these types of songs on while we were doing something. Everyone is comment about how you're here before a certain number of views, why not say how good this music video was. When I heard this song, I didn't really think about the words his way. I thought you were on a date, something may have gone wrong and you asked him to stay, however you're asking him to stay alive. Wow. This was deep. It played out multiple scenarios of how his day could have gone with that girl.

I have a conspiracy for this one The Red Elevator represented danger meaning that if he went inside the elevator, he would die The shattering mirror also represents his life if he didn't meet Alessia. Broken. Zedd right here is in a time loop, if he chose to be in the elevator, he would die. But the question is, he has missed the elevator several times, why would he choose to get in it The lesson here is that he'd rather die in the arms of his loved one rather than lving his life alone and broken

so if zedd "stayed" and got to the elevator, he would've had that brief, loving moment with alessia, but died in the end. if he didn't, he would've been alive but not have met her, it's crazy how some things can change and happen differently. Then the video shows what would've happen if he was able to make it to the elevator and have a date with Alessia. They both have a fun time but Zedd ends up dying in the end. The video finishes with a glimpse of him being able to wake up the next day, after he missed the elevator but staying alive, instead of dying but being with Alessia the day before. I've always found Zedd so handsome, and talented! And Alessia too!. She is so natural and I love her voice. It's crazy how we are listening to this song again as different people. This song is legendary.
