I've been trying to find a decent remix of this song. This is the only one so far that's not complete shit or boring as fuck. It's really good actually. I like it. :)

Thank you. I want to clarify some things: 1. I'm certain that the fact that I'm a "brony" had no bearing on Zedd's decision. He's a cool guy and I'm sure he tried his best to avoid bias. 2. The fact that someone put my remix on youtube did not disqualify me from the contest. Tom Budin's remix has been on youtube for 4 months. 3. Tom Budin's remix is well-produced. While I'm personally not a huge fan of it, I can see why Zedd chose it. Finally, thanks everyone for the awesome comments! :D

i keep coming back to this after all these years... there's something your mix of this song does, resonates in my heart like nothing else. it's mostly bittersweet now; what used to represent hope in this track for me now represents fond loss; i'm grateful to relive the better times ;_;

How did this not beat Tom Budin's remix? This remix is 10 times better than Tom Budin's remix (in my opinion so please don't judge.) Btw absolutely amazing! Love it. :D

Tom Budin's remix was sooo dragged out and all he did was copy other artists style, if you listened to that song without looking at the artist, you would say Deadmau5 BECAUSE HE FUCKING COPIED THE EXACT SAME THING JOEL DOES.

After hearing this I've just gone and listened to the original version of Zedd ft. Foxes - Clarity, then the following remixes; Tom Budin, Brillz, Drunk Dragons Power, W&W Bootleg, Andrew Rayel, Vicetone, Dil and Tiësto. Now I've come back here to say I think your remix is the best!

It's because KZfaq misidentified this video as the Brillz Remix of Clarity. I already sent a dispute in, and even with the monumental amount of proof I gave that this is my own remix they rejected the appeal and still think the audio is the Brillz Remix. I hate that some people are so incompetent that they can't tell the difference between two completely different remixes. There's not really much I can do about it now though, since youtube's dispute system is pretty much nonexistent.

More dubstep songs need to put the drop on the most powerful part of the vocals like this. They all put it right after and this made me realize how much better it sounds when they're synchronized.

For all the people complaining remember 3 things 1 This song has only got 6000 or so views, possibly a little more from it being on sound cloud too 2 Dubstep is a controversial genre that not everyone enjoys. 3 Bronys are a controversial group that many people have bias against. I dont enjoy slow progressive house either but Deadmau5 has proven its a popular genre and in the end who cares, we enjoy this song so thats all that matters.

Just listened to Tom's remix. It is well produced but it just doesn't sound as unique as Assertive's but I'll respect Zedd for picking it. Great work Assertive, I didn't really like this remix at first but it grew on me. Honestly, I've listened to this track on Zedd's site at lest 70 times, finally I can download it. Thanks.
