I have been doing this all along without offset path, so the edges does look smooth and its as if each of the text has been transformed and if i use stroke too it does same. It was making me go crazy till i realized i hadn't offset path

For me, it is always somewhere in my mind which color is looking best for which design, and sometime I do take help from Google. I mean Always ;-)

Yes I do take help from Internet but there is no specific website where I always go and choose my colors for any design.
