I recently had the pleasure of spending time with all round nice guy and the uber talented Peter Wood, founder of the renowned ‘Greenwood Days’ which is one of Britain’s top centres for green woodworking located on the border between Leicestershire and Derbyshire (UK)
Peters Website - www.greenwoodda...
Peters Facebook - / greenwooddays
Peters Instagram - / greenwooddays
Peter has been involved in the green woodworking space for almost half a century and is considered one of the best pole lathe turners around
So when he asked if I was up for filming a detailed series of tutorials covering pole lathe for beginners, I couldn’t say yes fast enough
We ended up filming a comprehensive five part series on pole lathe for beginners
[VIDEO 1] - Currently Watching
[VIDEO 2] - • How To Prepare A Woode...
[VIDEO 3] - • How To Turn A Wooden G...
[VIDEO 4] - • How To Turn A Wooden H...
[VIDEO 5] - • How To Turn A Wooden R...
Peters intention with this series is to help as many people as possible so hope you guys enjoy this series I filmed with him and a sincere thank you to Pete for taking out an entire day from his hectic teaching schedule to invite me down to his beautiful woodland to film
As always I appreciate you watching
Take care
Peace
Zed

I've just built my own pole lathe from a pallet after taking one of Pete's Greenwood Days courses a few years back. Watching this took me right back there, I love him!

Zed, this is awesome--I haven't even watched the whole thing yet but it is wonderful, such a helpful level of detail for someone stuck outside the UK trying to figure out how to build a lathe and get going with this ourselves, not able to get to classes. Thanks so much for doing this series! I have been watching (over and over) the videos with Sharif Adams and just discovered this group today--wonderful! Blessings to you!
