My grandfather’s idol ❤️ After his death ,I’ve been reading everyday about him ,watching his interviews, film scenes, etc and now I understand why he is called the “kohinoor of Indian cinema” …he certainly deserves the title more than anyone else …what a dynamic personality…❤️

He was born in undivided India and before India got divided and Pakistan was formed, he had moved to Bombay. He had a British-Indian citizenship in post independence and had Indian citizenship in pre-independence

तहजीब ...का दौर गुजर गया अब तो आंखों में पानी भी नही बचें..... सिनेमा में मधुरता... स्पंदन नही रहा सुगम गीतों का दौर भी चला गया...समय को तो बढ़ना है... रोका नही जा सकता पर बीते समय याद आते है...उसे न छोड़े वही हमारी बुनियाद है।

90 का दशक भी क्या समय था जब एक वर्ग को खुश करने के लिये भी एंकर अपनी तरफ से उर्दू लफ्ज में बोलने की भरपूर कोशिस करता था।

@@RealfoolsKingdom उर्दू शब्द तुर्की भाषा से लिया गया है। उर्दू शब्द का अर्थ है शाही शिविर या खेमा (तम्बू).....तुर्कों के साथ यह शब्द भारत में आया और इसका यहाँ प्रारम्भिक अर्थ खेमा या सैन्य पड़ाव था।

@@RealfoolsKingdom उर्दू भाषा का विकास सिन्ध में मुस्लिम शासकों के साथ ही शुरू हुआ। इसके बाद जब दिल्ली पर मुस्लिम तथा मुगल शासकों का कब्जा हुआ तब उर्दू का विकास अपने चरम पर गया। शुरुआत में मुस्लिम राजाओं ने फारसी को अपना भाषा बनाया। भारतीय भाषाओं में इसका का मिलन हुआ जिसके बाद उर्दू सामने आया।
