Lord Rama (the blue man who is also the 7th incarnation of lord Vishnu, a Hindu god) was exiled for 14 years from his kingdom on his coronation day and his wife Sita (incarnation of Vishnu's wife Lakshmi )and half brother lakshmana joined him. After many years Sita spots a beautiful deer and asks Ram to get it for her. He leaves to get the deer and tells Lakshman to protect her. After a long time Sita gets worried and asks Lakshmana to look for Ram as he had not returned. Lakshman drew the 'lakshmanrekha' ( Lakshman's line) and asked her not to cross it. Ravana ( a ten-headed demon king of a very rich kingdom) kidnaps Sita by disguising himself as a sage and takes her to his kingdom, (presumably modern day Sri lanka) Lanka through the pushpak viman ( a beautiful chariot). Jatayu the vulture king tries to save her but Ravana cuts off his wings. Rama , Lakshmana, Hanuman (a very strong monkey-human hybrid) and the vanar sena (monkey-human hybrid army) crossed the Indian Ocean by constructing the ram setu ( Adam's bridge) between India and Sri lanka. In short Rama defeats Ravana using the brahmastra (holy weapon capable of destroying the universe) and Ravana gets engulfed in flames and dies. We have a festival called dusshera where children or young men get dressed up as ram and burn the effigy of Ravana. This tale teaches Indian children about the victory of good over evil. As for the above line it means 'Victory to Siya's (Sita) husband Ramachandra (Rama)'. You belong to a very influential but conservative family but you did something that is bad for your families prestige so they can call you as 'kalank' for the family.. although no one nowadays uses this word too often
