Yeah it has “a lot” of vertical adjustment range but you have to take out your zero-stop-pin to get more than 1 (one !!!) full turn of elevation on your turret. That’s....come on, what’s that all about? And yes, you can reach out further with those ballistic-calculator-turrets that give you hundred clicks with one full turn but that’s only “accurate” enough for hunting. I wanna be able to calculate my clicks, turn them in, a click for a click and not with some crazy gearbox-turret, for as many rotations as I want without bumping into a zero-stop after one rotation and without having to give up the actual zero-stop feature itself. Like in any decent long range scope, that name worthy.

This scope doesn't use T* coatings. Very strange.

hello, I have a zeiss v8 2.8-20x56 scope, and would like to know if the wind copensator is different then mine?? i have the normal cap that you take of to zero . Is this an extra or optional when buying ?? regards

Yes the windage turret is an extra, but it is available (should be included as standard IMO)

+Richard Utting you are right if you consider experienced shooters. However on the order hard we also need to consider that majority of hunters in central Europe will never compensate wind drift and most probably are also not experts in reading the wind. For them the additional ASV turret is just an unnecessary addition that makes their scope even more bulky.

The difference is day and night, I was a Swarovski guy for so many years , Now I own 5 of them and Just ordered the new one a 2.8-20x56 the 30mm Tube

you mentioned in the video 3:57 the internal elevation is 3.1 meter at 100 M which means that the total elevation is 3.1 mils is that right ?

If you order one now at our store we will be able to ship a ring version in cca. 4 weeks and M rail version in 6-8 weeks. The demand is high at the moment is thus delivery time a bit longer.

Do you have to take all the rings? Shame to pay for 8 rings you'll never use.

10 mil in 1 turn though because of the 36mm tube. For reference my 6.5 creed needs 10 mil to get to 1200 yards. More than sufficient for any hunting situation.

this is far away from the top! a very expensiv piece of crap.... the elevation doesn´t work, the lotu tec coating is very bad, and and and.... if you want high performance scops chose SWAROVSKI or Schmidt & Bender

+Ritter Gut We have tested Z6i vs V8 vs Magnus many times side by side and we disagree with your observations. Every one of these scopes has its week points and strong points, however all of them are very far away of being crap.... But normally everybody has its right to their opinion and their favorite brand!

lol at saying zeiss being expensive crap and the you bring up s&b. zeiss is very costly, but not S&B costly!
