Joshua Morse is an arranger and chiptune artist known for his funky remixes of 16-bit classics. In the first single from his upcoming Zelda cover album Zelda Funk, Joshua explores "Hyrule Castle" with fresh beats and thrilling funk reharmonizations. The classic melody was first heard in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and was composed by Koji Kondo. The full album releases on April 26th, 2024!

This would make some incredible menu or hub world music. Especially since there are so many distinct little movements in the song, you could each menu screen or area of the hub transition into one of the song movements

Imagine if they did something like this for a Zelda equivalent of the DK Rap, and Link was the one rapping, making it one of the few canonical ways Link speaks "Hey, I'm Link, I'm the Hero of Rhyme, and I woke up just in the nick of time, to save the world from a real bad man, who tricked me.. [gasp!].. with an evil plan! He got me to open this fancy door, said 'Smell ya later! I've got the Triforce!' The terms and conditions of the Master Sword said, 'Sorry, kid, you're not old enough.' [What?!] Sorry I'm late, it wasn't my fault, this guy named Ganondorf made the world dark, but I'll do what it takes, and I'll get what I need, and soon he'll be sorry that he messed with me! Hey, Ganonnn! I'm on my way! Better watch the clock, time's ticking away! It's gonna be hard, but I gotta try, or my name ain't Link, the Hero of Rhyme!" Wrote this in a moment of inspiration with 0:11 to 0:46 in mind; the moment of inspiration has ended, but I suppose if this was a pre-game rap that played as some kind of intro, that would be a good length for it, and they could write the song to end there :v
