I still cant believe i manage to beat this challenging game in the zelda franchise. Many of the bosses are tough and of course some locations especially Death Mountain and Great Palace are no joke.

It's even worse if you go through without the cross, like I did.

Just remember that the Legend Of Zelda Series is usually not complete without fighting at least 1 Dragon.

I heard this game was Ball-bustingly hard.

As someone who has beaten this many times and struggled through it a lot especially the first time I can say yes it's pretty challenging.

It's more some of the cryptic shit in it that's really impossible. Although if you hit the "skip a puzzle" button at the slightest inconvenience like most gamers, you won't notice it.

I had this the year I got my Nintendo. I loved it, but yeah it’s very hard. Death Mountain will kick your ass.

The version on Switch is nice because there's a Rewind feature. There are a number of ordinary enemies that can kick your ass in this game, particularly the guys who throw a boomerang. So it's nice being able to Rewind and try again. Rewind also helps with Magic. MP is a relatively scarce resource so it's nice to be able to attempt to cross each screen a few times before resorting to using your magic spells. Basically, Rewind is a way of cheating and cheating makes the game a lot easier.

Nice job demolishing all the bosses, especially Thunderbird and Dark/Shadow Link. 😉

1. I absolutely HATE that the boss can move off-screen and become invincible. 2. I have this game on Switch. There's a Rewind button. Without it, I'd never have beaten this game without ripping my hair out first. 3. Even with the Rewind button, I'd never be able to beat all bosses with no damage before ripping my hair out. 4. The knight on horseback - I don't know how I did it... and I haven't reproduced it... but... I once did a down-stab on him while he was on horseback, right when he hopped off... and then the downward attack repeated until he was dead. 5. Against the red wizard, I tried the strategy you exhibited and still couldn't beat him without damage. He phased in on the right edge of the screen. Maybe I didn't quite get all the way over? But when he was dead I just moved on so maybe I could have gotten there if I tried. 6. Mad respect for beating the fire dragon thing without damage. That battle isn't exactly difficult (with max attributes) but I could never have consistently dodged his attack. Not without a lot of tries. 7. Even madder respect regarding the blue floating main boss thing. That thing pissed me off and I ended up having to look up how to beat it. 8. Supposedly there's a less cheesy way to beat Dark Link. I didn't bother - by that point I was ready to move on to something else. 9. I wonder if there's an easy way to make a video of Switch gameplay that cuts out the rewinds, so that it looks like continuous uninterrupted gameplay. The player would look incredibly skilled.
