After being saved from the Calamity, Zelda makes a startling discovery that has her absolutely livid! And of course, they're due to the action of a certain amnesiac knight.
TOTK was amazing, and I will not be told otherwise. Loved it to death. And the whole ridiculous speed run thing in BOTW is really what inspired this whole skit. It’s cool AF, don’t get me wrong, just so funny as well. I think the video came out decent. Not my best work that’s for sure.
Thanks again to my main man Ennos for providing his voice for Link. You da bomb man, for real.
And an ultra special thanks to the guest star VA I had on for this, Kiera Rhodes. She did a phenomenal Zelda, and it was a delight to have her. Thanks a ton girl, I really appreciate it!

What's funny is that in TotK if you try do things ahead, the NPCs reactions are kinda similar: "Why didn't you tell us you did this sooner!" Or "You are always one step ahead.", etc. And Link is clueless.

I made my way to the thunder cloud island early cause I was curious. Main story quest started and I just followed it through. Had master sword already by that point too. Later, I went to the castle for the Zelda sighting, returned and they were discussing possibility of another sage, only to find out it was already done. They were confused why I didn't say anything about the ms either when I had been wearing it around them for ages haha.

Actually, no. She's a descendant of Hylia, but the only Zelda who's Hylia herself is Skyward Sword Zelda. This Zelda here is a distant descendant if that bloodline and has the blood of the goddess and the light force as every Zelda before her, but she is not Hylia herself anymore.

Have to Agree, this sort of does a much better explanation on how ToTK could be linked to Breath of the Wild. 1. Link speed ran BotW so fast that because he never `restored` the divine beasts, they likely crumbled from the miasma, including any guardians that may of not `explunged it` from Ganon blights being killed or attacking Link. 2. He only got the Mastersword and became `friends` with the 4 successors of the champions AFTER Calamity got Nyx`d instead. 3. Because Link effectively yeetus Deletus Calamity Ganon so fast, that on top of Zelda time traveling back into the past at the start of ToTK, both events caused a correctional paradox of sorts so Zonai tech took Guardian tech`s place instead. Because Link had no idea what Guardians were, so they might as well not exist if the `Hero` knew nothing about them. 4. Link Likely speed ran Calamity Ganon`s death so fast it broke the sheikah slate, totally explaining why Link didn`t have it since Zelda and Purah confiscated it and made the Purah pad with less features to not have it happen again, with instead said `abilities` being part of the corpse arm of some old man`s Fursona instead. Though i would NOT be amazed if it breaks again in time for the third LoZ Open world game due to Robbie`s inclusions of a porta-telepoint and sensor Plus system.

A typical 200 hours playthrough is equivalent to 500 in game days. Assuming that Zelda never sees the times that link dies, (cut out about half) then that’s almost a year that she has to wait, which is surprisingly reasonable given the context of the time period.

I think the implication is that he left it with the Deku Tree to heal it from his battle at the end of BOTW, and retrieved it to go explore the caverns with Zelda (could be misremembering it though).
