What I understand is that Ganon loses a bit of himself with every reincarnation. And this is (as far as we know) a culmination of that. I watched a KZfaqr recently talk about this. This ganon, out of ALL or at least most minus like 1 or 2 ganons don't speak, they just destroy. And these ganons are all wayyyy later reincarnations. His refusal to die along with this reincarnation curse basically turned him into pure hatred and malice i.e. chaos. No personality and no real thoughts beyond "Destroy and conquer". I feel like this is the best explaination for why ganon becomes this way. I feel like to truly understand ganon you really gotta dig. Talk to towns folk and anyone else who'll talk about Ganon in every game. That's where the lore truly lies. But that's just my theory/assumptions.

The spirit of the hero either reincarnates or Link becomes the spirit of the hero incarnate.

All Links possess the “Spirit of The Hero”. Skyward Sword Link was the original and very first Link. But Demise placed a curse on himself, Link and Zelda.. That’s why Link keeps reincarnating. Demise reincarnates mainly as Ganondorf, but there is an exception, Malladus from Spirit Tracks.

We always thought the timeline thing was a foolish addition as well (though recent events have let us see a more fun side to it, researching this video, and a Game Theory video trying to place Breath of the Wild for example.) And if Isaac is being Honest if he could change only one thing that the Nintendo has done to Zelda, it wouldn't be the time line... It would be that the Rito came from the Zora because the world FLOODED! I mean come ooooon! World: Becomes ocean Zora: Holy crap we have the entire world at our fingertips! Also Zora: Yeah but... Wings! Anyway, the Zelda games are so good! (If on the off chance you haven't finished the Ballad of the Hero DLC for BoTW btw DO IT, it has some of the best "feels" moment in the whole game) We love them and have for a rather long time, We started back with Link to the Past and have both played most of the iterations. :D (Isaac has definitely played more though... Probably because Tarren HATES motion controls just like you. :P)

@@TrueMastersandMorons LOL yea the Zora becoming Rito in the Adult timeline was a 'WTF but... WHY?!!' moment for me as well. I forget who it was but there was a theory going around that it was the more violent river Zora who evolved into the Rito while the regular Zora (in breath of the wild at least) stayed the same. The theory doesn't work for Windwaker because of the fact we see Medli's ancestor is a regular zora but it holds for Breath of the Wild since both races are seen existing in the same game. I guess... I mean. okay i'll take it over nothing. Oh and I definitely finished Champions Ballad for Breath of the Wild and yea... it's a straight shot to the heart. Especially Mipha... dear God that is tragic! Urbosa is my fave though. Gotta love strong women. If I could be in that world and choose what I can be it would definitely be Gerudo! My ex-husband had an N64 when we married and a couple of years into our marriage I was pregnant and bored and he gave me Ocarina of Time to play. I was skeptical mostly because I didn't enjoy that generations nintendo games because they felt very childish compared to the games on my playstation but boy was I wrong about Zelda!!! The fallen hero timeline shouldn’t exist. It’s basically thrown in to explain the games that don’t make sense anywhere else. I think you’re right. He doesn’t like the cartoony link. Which is too bad since wind waker is like top 3 of all the games

@@williambarrantes1674 my main problem with the fallen hero timrline is that you could do that for any zelda game, wht is OoT the only one where failing leads to another story? Because of what you said: that was thr only way to fit it. Personally I don't care about tr zelda timeline because to me TLoZ is like FF: a seties of games with similar themes, locations, characters, races etc. that sometimes have direct sequels, but are mostly standalone games.

@@larrote6467 I’ve never played FF, but I mostly agree. The games could all be just different variations of the same story, no need to give them connections or an order. The problem is what happened recently, when I played BotW. When I saw the dilapidated temple of time, something about it just made sense. I loved the idea of there being a continuation and call back of past games. Also the statues and architect of the hidden temple match those found in skyward sword. I think it’s very cool, and I don’t really mind them trying to connect the games in some way. My problem is they tried to connect ALL of them. Which doesn’t make sense. Some zelda games (Majoras mask, minish cap, four swords whatever) should be totally standalone, they were cool new ideas, but they don’t follow the same story as the main games. I mean they don’t even have ganondorf for christs sake! Instead of connecting everything through timelines, they should just have standalone games in their own realm, and a main continuation of the basic story

@@covid_guy I do know. The timeline states that 4 swords adventures comes after twilight princess. Breath of the wild is supposed to be a closing of all the timelines together, links hat has a yellow band (downfall), they reference rock salt and the great sea (adult), and they have the mirror of twilight and the dark zonai ruins. And by release date, BoTW would actually be a sequal to Skyward sword. But that doesn't make any sense since Skyward sword is the first game (chronology)

@@alibolink0719 Leave those time line and stuff aside , In twilight ganon was stabbed in the chest and in the sequel to BotW it is shown ganon with a chest wound on the same spot where life force and malice is radiating . The stuff do not actually make any sense . As per I believe the hand was one of zonai tribes hand who pinned down ganon and cut off his hand and used his life force to power those seikha technology.
