Ай бұрынToday, we are checking out an incredible project that essentially turns N64 games into PC ports complete with settings screen and major video enhancements. If you are an old school Zelda fan. This is for you. No emulator is required.
Zelda 64: Recompiled is a project that uses N64: Recompiled to statically recompile Majora's Mask (and soon Ocarina of Time) into a native port with many new features and enhancements. This project uses RT64 as the rendering engine to provide some of these enhancements.

Playing this game at 60FPS just feels really uncanny at times, but it's also nice making the camera flip around and seeing more animations the old 24fps limitations couldn't show well.

It may be possible to run the Windows version via something like Crossover on the mac which is similar to Proton on Linux (Both projects use WINE)

Played around with this, animations like blowing up a balloon seems to be a different frame rate other than 60 for me.

ray tracing, uncapped frame rates and ultrawide monitor support. No emulator required to name a few.

anyone else have an issue where xbox controller randomly stops working? doesnt take inputs until replugged in

I had that issue last night. Only certain buttons on my controller were working. I just restarted the game and it worked again

why not put the resolution to auto? If you run the game on 1440p or 4k it will run natively. I dont get it or is there something I dont understand?

Possibly because I wanted to show you how to increase/decrease frame rates without bothering to be specific. It's not a gameplay video but a video to show you people's work. Have fun 😀
