I HAD to make a Zelda build in Armored Core. Two series that are very dear to me crossover!

@@Thryfe gotta ask was it a stylistic choice if not what did you get out of the jailbreak vs the Bashio or really ANY other core. Love the vids man keeping the community alive.

@@harozuken Definitely style choice. I couldn't get the eyes to look good on any core except Basho, even that it was so so. Then I tried it on jail and thought it looked like the mask was partially broken and looking like that back of it from phase 1 was exposed. It looked disturbing imo and that fits the bill for Majora 😂.

Man, this is the crossover I NEVER knew I needed. Zelda OOT and Majora's mask are my second favorite game next to Armored Core, so this was super legit to see bro! LOVE the paint job, you really went all out there :)

It's always cool to see how much attention to detail you manage to pull off with mostly just the basic decal work. And man, that choice out of necessity going for the Jailbreak core works incredibly well for turning Majora's Wrath into an Armored Core; makes the whole thing look like the mask got smashed in two and Majora still decided to be defiant and go for a fourth phase by producing this giant monstrosity to fill the gaps. Also, 20:45 - That's one spicy haircut moment

That's EXACTLY why I chose that core. I legit said to my girl "I think this looks the best because it looks like the mask is broken and you see the abomination parts of it". Using the core led to restrictions though 🤣. Yeah that was a super close call.

This is just plain sick! Out of curiosity, which Zelda game is your favorite (I’m guessing Majora’s Mask because you started with this build)? My personal favorite, which happens to also be my favorite game of all time, is Twilight Princess.

Thanks! For nearly my entire life Ocarina of Time was my favorite. Breath of the Wild came out and I had a hard time choosing between the two. Breath eventually took the #1 spot for me. Too many things in that game hit my personal tastes directly. Perfect example is how much I love knights and they leaned HEAVY into Link being a knight in that game.

@@Thryfe my biggest problem when I'm trying to "gussy up" my builds, is there's just *too much* freedom lol I just can't decide what I want to do, or where to start. I'll even see ones that just have like, numbers, and little details on them, go to do that, and just blank out on where to begin lol

I honestly applaud your ability to keep doing ranked, was one of the first s ranks when it came out and continued. However after the latest reset I just don’t got it in me. Everyone on pc runs metas and heavy or rat builds. Can’t have fun no more haha

Your paint and decal work is always on point. I wish I had the patience to go back and forth between the decal maker and decal placement screens to try and make something real nice for my ACs

I very slowly eased into it. For a LONG while I never wanted to even attempt decals because I thought it would take too long. Started with a single square in the middle of the melander core for an AC2 build and gradually used more over time.
